He didn't "reinvent" the Beatles song - it was based on The Carpenters' arrangement.

But at least he was keeping it real by playing a guitar or something.

Maybe but best performance so far...... im dreading to see what they have done with Janet O-O

that was terrible, but at least he was singing unlike frankie speaking sylables in a husky whisper.
