I like your thinking

Donny's Argentine Tango is still IMO the most passionate one ever seen on TV.......just brilliant, might have to go and have another watch here it is if anyone wants to have a look

Donny is commenting on Good Morning America on this years DWTS contestants. He is not holding back with his criticism

That would be great and she has all the credentials + didn't she choreograph a routine for the show a couple of years ago?

What you can be sure of is that the BBC will appoint someone with no knowledge of Ballroom or Latin and will call in the likes of some BBC Pet - i.e. Fiona Bruce or heaven help us Barbara Windsor or Cilla Black etc. etc. . If they have any sense at all - Karen Hardy or Matthew Cutler or someone with an indepth knowledge who knows what they are talking about.. It will be interesting to see who they use and then we can chew over as to why?

Let's not forget Karen's incredible choreography for Danielle and Luke in So You Think You Can Dance.

You read my mind Jan. Baz Lurhmann would be my choice too. Peeps might not know his mother was a ballroom dance teacher and he danced when he was young. The stage show and film of Strictly Ballroom were inspired by his own experiences! He was very good when he was on DWTS.

TBH I thought he was dreadful, but we all like different things.

I'd be happy with Shirley too.

I'd prefer it not be a former pro because it would cause too much fuss on here!

I can't see it being Camilla, as much as I'd love for it to be, she's touring the country in Calendar Girls. Again, I'd vote for Karen. Though having Arlene sat next to Alesha could be amusing - I can dream, right?

Having read some of the critiques on her blog, I would love it to be Nicole Cutler, too.

This has literally only popped into my head as I read your post - but what if she's too much of a threat to Len's ego in particular, which is why she has never made it to the desk, but it still popular with the producers which is why she has her commentary slot and her ITT slot?

If that was the case then this would be the perfect choice for them to try her out on the panel as a replacement for Len - he's not getting any younger, and in previous years has missed episodes of DWTS due to tiredness. If Karen is popular enough she could replace Len on the panel, allowing him to focus exclusively on DWTS...........

I do love a conspiracy theory!

I know the NOTW published an apology over thwe article, but I figured that Nicole's days with SCD were well and truly over - same goes for all the pros who have left except Karen and Ian who are still very much involved with the show.

Although doesn't Lilia judge one of the other versions, with Darren involved behind the scenes? Maybe one of those two could do it.

Probably Matt cutler would be my choice as he and Alesha could reunite. Would suggest you guys did angry e-mails why BBC are still employing Len. Then again I think Brucie is to blame at times, please BBC have faith in others.

I don't know anything about the NOTW. I've never read it.

Angry emails to the BBC?
Have they ever been known to work?

I've learnt over the years that it's very dangerous to show one's feelings!

Not really, if you complain in the most reasoned way they will listen to you.

Is the fact that I don't enjoy SCD as much, nowadays, as I used to, a good enough reason to complain to the BBC?

For Brucie read Zoe Ball, with Ian in the Waitazzine.

Ian has just given us what could be taken as a hint that he's doing it on 'It Takes Two'.

So happy if he is!

As much I appreciate the work that Karen does on ITT, I dont want her on that panel(and I like her as a dancer/person).But No!

Yes it would be great if it was Ian!

I thought it was more like a desperate "pick me please" plea.

Looks like it could be Jennifer Grey - jennifer-grey-talks-upcoming-projects

Were she covering for Alesha it would make sense but covering for Len is ridiculous. The panel needs a B&L qualified professional person.
