You are so right. About everything. However the song did nothing for me - I can't even remember it now.

My sister asked me what I thought about it (she knows I am a WY fan) and then said that it wouldn't pass the "old grey whistle test"!

One of my favourie songs on the cd. Loved the performance and the dance.

A Big Fat YAY from me!

Although 'Come On' is not one of my favourite tracks from 'Echoes' he performed it flawlessly...

I quite liked that he had his own dancers and he joined in, as previous poster said had he had the pro dancers dancing in front of him, it would have distracted from his performance.... and the pro's had already performed earlier in the show, so it wasn't as if he had a slot instead of the pro's.

As for saying he is not a real singer If you have ever seen this guy live you would not say that, this guy has amazing voice. Whether you like him or not, that is undeniable!

A huge YAY from me - in fact it was one of the best parts of the show!

And, yes, Will is brilliant live - never a note out of place and some fantastic coreography to boot - he puts on a real show!

And a huge YAY from me too. Like the song, loved, loved, loved the performance.

One genuine question: without going back to watch it again, I am asking how many actually could hum the tune to his song?

I bet most of you have already forgotten it.

YAY, YAY and thrice YAY. So nice to have a performer whose live voice is flawless, who actually looks like he's put in some effort to his performance and whose dance moves are well-performed.

I couldn't hum the tune to the song, but then I couldn't have hummed the tune to Robbie's 'performance' of Rock DJ last series, and that's a song I know backwards. The point is that if I were new to both acts, I would be far more likely to consider listening to Will Young again after that performance than I would to Robbie

That's what I meant by the "old grey whistle test". Apparently if an old man with grey hair was heard whistling a tune that would pass the test!

Love the song and the performance - but whats with the Norman Wisdom/Lee Evans suit?!?

Row with his stylist or accident at the dry cleaners? Will is a great looking guy but should try looking in a full length mirror before he goes on stage. He keeps himself trim but there is no need to wear a size too small, just because you CAN.

(On a different note, I am hoping that Pink Martini and Cara Emerald - both sing wonderful, vintage style music ideal for display dances - are guests this series.)

The most ginormous YAYYYYY from me!!

Will is brilliant, he looked, moved and sang wonderfully, and that was a fantastic fresh and classy performance of an excellent track from his album which is also the upcoming second single!

Thought the dancers were very good too.

I see now what you were trying to say, and I agree with you. Only his fans would love Will's performance in the show.

The shots of his face with his ears in silhouette, did him no favours. At one time I thought there were a couple of dancers looking over his shoulders.

But a good performance by all, nevertheless.

It's not my favourite song on the album by a long way, but it is one which stuck in my head on first listen.

I guess Will should release an album of well known covers, then everyone will be able to whistle along to their hearts content

If he tries harder to get rid of his lisping when he sings then maybe there is a chance.

Hello there Doghouse!

I hope you and yours are well and that you are enjoying the new series of SCD.

Will always performs brilliantly live - I just wish he would dispose of his present wardrobe and get some style tips. I wonder if he has lost weight and wants to show off his slim figure?

Even that does not explain the sizing problem!

Not that keen on the song but I love Will Young so it's a yay for me

It's a nay from me. As a singer, I've always found him a bit dull. middle of the road.
On chat shows, he always comes across as a decent enough guy..not my cup of tea, but I'm not that way inclined.

Nay, nay and a thousand times nay. Stuart Matthew Price has far more talent in his little finger and a much better voice - unfortunately, he is not so well known because he hasn't won a reality show. He is amazing.

Why should he? He's the guy that's just about to have his 6th consecutive platinum album, so his lisp hasn't harmed his chances in the slightest has it?

To be honest, it really is small minded to even mention a slight speech impediment, but I suppose you're one of those perfect beings with no physical imperfections at all, how lucky you are.

I'd not heard of SMP so youtubed him .... good voice - very musical theatre - but not that distinctive from many other good musical theatre voices if I'm honest. He sort of reminds me of Michael Arden, but not as good.

Completely different voice to Will's so a direct comparison seems pointless.

As for Will's performance - it's a yay from me. I enjoy how he blends into the choreography with his song and his vocal was faultless as always.

I thought the whole thing was a bit dark and sinister for a family entertainment show. And God knows where he got those circa 2001 Kylie cast-off dancers from is beyond me. Loved Jealousy though.

I have a feeling that the dancers are the ones he will be using for the up coming tour. Probably Ashley Wallen's choreography too.

I can't remember the tune he sang but I did love his dancers - I thought it was a great routine and loved the shapes and lines that the dancers made.
