The total joy that Russell displays is very infectious, and I have to admit that I wasn't looking forward to watching him before the begining of this series.

He gives it everything he has, and he is one of the few of the celebrities to say "Thank You" every time he gets through.

He was very subdued (for Russell, anyway) was he in pain or spaced out on painkillers? I hope he can dance through the op because he is excellent value - joie de vivre!
