How wonderful what a great pair they are brilliant that Danny was his mentor last year I would have hated any of the judges being a mentor to him this year. Matt probably knows more about mustic than most of them.

From lsst night Matt singing his song 'All For Nothing' wow that caused #twitter to go mad last night. I am now going to say something that many are also feeling and I know not just here either.

What a load of rubbish, seemingly, the whole of x F was last night. I am please Matt is no longer on the XF and as for his RFYL being were it is who cares I don't ........had it been Matts song then I would have been alarmed; however they the xf have s.... themselves in the foot.

Loved Matt song Oh it was beautiful absolutely beautiful thank goodness he is in the hands of Columbia.

I was thinking about this last night and the tension in that studio must have been incredible with the extremely cruel, and imo, unnecessary twist going on. That was not entertainment watching some very young people in tears. He was on before all of this happened and I imagine you could have cut the air with a knife, even two of the judges were crying afterwards so I'm sure that the studio was highly charged beforehand. He is a sensitive, which is one of the reasons I fell in love with him and would have been affected by that energy. Whilst watching RFYL they zoomed in on the drummer for a sec and I remember thinking he looked scared too.

Edit Woohoo new home

YAY, new house...aren't the mods very sweet for not moving us in the middle of our excitement last night (or maybe they just don't do Sundays). I really expected Matt to be at no.1 on itunes when I woke up this morning. I can't understand why the single release date wasn't mentioned on XF last night, doesn't Dermy always mention the single release date of any performer on there? Isn't that part of the point of going on it I really do think Matt needs this single to be number 1 as it will be good promo for the album.

Can't stop watching All For Nothing from last night...really wish we could have had a few more of those...a little five song acoustic set would have been amazing.

So what is Matt doing this evening, is it the itunes gig? I've lost track Pie have an AMAZING time and I hope your little pony is OK

Morning Tilly and Ped I have already placed the song Matt sang 'All For Nothing' absolutely brilliant made me cry.

I think we are looking a show, seemingly, on its last legs the sensationalism is becoming more than the show it would seem.

The thing is they are having to do things like this in order to make people watch. I have not been watching the show because there will never be another Matt and I am thrilled I chose the winner to support last year.

Matt and the band showed the show up for what it is........

I don't think I'll be watching anymore mita. I found last night sickening and felt ashamed of myself for watching

I don't mean Matt's bits though!!

I know what you mean BB I was so pleased I had not been watching ..............those poor contestants it was like the Colosseum in Rome. Still the saving grace was Matts singing bless him what a great guy. Thank goodness he is no longer part of the whole thing.

Thanks BB he was so good and loved all that he has done. Its obvious to me that for S to take a photograph of Matt performing the song at the end of X Factor that he is held in high regard by others in the profession. What a fantastic guy he is.

Morning Lovely new house, but which box is the kettle in? And for later, where did the gin go?

I'm afraid I agree. It's all the twists and tricks that stop me watching reality shows. If XF were a straightforward talent show, I'd watching every single week. It isn't and I don't. Such a pity because the production values are stunning and I do like Dermot.

Over the weekend it wasn't possible for me to watch Matt's performances live, so I'm incredibly grateful for YT's and have bumped the link Broken brought over.

Feeling anxious again, but going to watch XF & XtraF on catchup so I can see what was making Matt so unsettled. Then it will no longer exist in my world.

Hugs Broken for carrying it all this way.

Hi All

I was really hoping to see Matt at No1 this morning, It doesnt suprise me however after last night!!

I entirely agree with Marella, Cardie and Nikki!! They should never have gone with RFYL!! He has his own, home grown, and perfectly formed "Fruits" so why put a sub-standard windfall from another tree on display!!??

RFYL has no WOW factor. If Starlight or Letters had been his first single he could have really rocked it last night and made a real impact!! I could scream!!

As I have said before, it seems to me that there have been bad decisions made on Matts behalf right from the beginning of this bloody farce!!

And yes I do think Matt was telling porkies about feeling "Home". It does rather go against "the X factor battered my credibility"!!

It seems to me he is still having to bend over.

When Oh when are we going to get REAL MATT out there???
