I wondered what that was when I downloaded this morning! Will check it out when I get home
I had the best laid plan ... leave the PC on with iTunes running so that all I needed to do was sync the iPod when I got up. My OH 'helpfully' turned it off because he thought I'd forgotten!! Thankfully, he told me before it was too late this morning so I now have the acoustic tracks and was able to listen on my way to work this morning. Some of you will have seen my tweet thanking Matt for multiple eargasms!!
No time to catch up on about 25 pages since I last visited the house
but, briefly:No. 6 is fine for RFYL given the competition - will be interesting to see the actual sales figures and how Starlight does in comparison (I'm sure it will do better though competition from James Morrison/Jessie J duet may keep it off the top spot). Joe McElderry also charted at no. 6 with Ambitions so I sincerely hope Matt doesn't get similar kind of flak. Joe didn't deserve it and neither does Matt.
For those going to Highbarn next week - I saw a tweet last night that said Matt was going to be on Radio Essex in 12 days (that is the 28th!!). Since he will be in Essex (not sure where the radio station is based) it's got my hopes up for the Bells or Highbarn!

I was out when the tv progs were playing on Saturday and I met with "call yourself a fan, he's just been on tv, he'll be in trouble with his GF, fancies this underwear model" from the OH when I eventually got back into the house..............this was followed by "dont fret, I've taped it for you and set it up for the one on later"...seriously, just bless my OH, he is soo thoughtful I found Into The Light most interesting - poor lamb fancy having the head of Columbia sat there watching whilst you try and get things together with your band at the first few rehearsals, LOL at the fishing incident with the thin wire and just WOW at the KOKO footage, he looked soo happy on that stage and they blasted it that night!!!
To conclude, if the guy wasnt built the way he is, all these deep felt feelings and emotions, he wouldnt be able to write these lyrics the way that he does and deliver them in such a way too

I think more air time is needed however from what I have heard its a brilliant album.

Great review Pie I see you like the chocolate ....loved the Into The Light which provided us with a very interesting view of Matt's journey it was a very 'professionally' produced piece which is a change from the normal stuff we are given. I think that Columbia are doing so well thank goodness Matt is with them.
