I just read all the way through one of the threads and ok ... I mean I expected the usual frothing at the mouth out of control stuff where people are trying to top each other in insults and malice. Thats par for the course with the MF when they whip each other up to a witchchunt and you get used to it. But there was one post that actually said something like with alot of prayers and Gods grace Matt would fail Even after a year looking at the MF I found myself just kind of stunned. I mean...what?

The person I'm referring to is a known Matt fan (likes Joe more) who posted a lot here last year but I've now actually read the thread and I think she would like Matt's links with Syco to be broken - so she voted with good intentions

Their rules and regs are much better than DS's too (I'll bring them over later on - very tired atm) - the stuff on the MF would've pretty much all been deleted and the posters banned. The one thing that needs to be explored though is if they allow links - there's a lot of blurb about what you can and can't link to, I'll have a closer look - it wouldn't be any fun if we couldn't have all our piccies and YTs would it?

But perhaps you're right about it not really being fair to look (though being a nosey and curious soul I may not always be able to resist peeking now I know how to do it ) - voting was always the one thing I felt OK doing on the MF precisely because I thought it was anonymous. Not that I'd ever want to hide the fact that I'll always vote in favour of Matt in any poll, but there are other polls about other subjects and people out there.

I think I know who you mean however with regards to the polls not good. No need for me to hide who I would vote for really they all know.

From what I've seen, I think the 'Letters' thread on BJack is within an equivalent to the MF, then we would be free to start an 'artist forum' which would be equivalent to the MCAT. I think you have to create your own moderaters though, like Chosen's Matt&Aiden site. Again, something to be explored.

And people must promise not to put up enormous pictures (I really hate those big pictures) Yeah the artists forums seem like the MCAT, as in no meanie trolleys allowed. Find the layout a little messy. DS is very simple and clean.

Something I noticed. The Matt hate threads were calming down through I assume boredom until someone posted on here that they'd run out of hate or something similar and they instantly started up again. They're aimed at us, simple as that.

There's only so long anyone can post repetitive abuse without having someone they hope they're hurting. It really is that ...unfortunate.
