I hadn't even noticed my bbm was down until I saw the uproar on Facebook.

Some people really need to get things into some kind of perspective. The status of some friends has made me wonder if they have a screw loose somewhere.

BBC Radio 1's newsbeat is pissing me off today.

Everyone being interviewed about the Blackberry issue is taking things way too far.

One guy "My wife is 8 months pregnant and I couldn't get hold of her via BBM, and my work emails weren't coming through".

Simple solution to that, TEXT her or CALL her... both functions of the Blackberry that were still working. If his work e-mails were that critical - the company should really be using BES (which wasn't affected by the outage).

"I got so fed up it was off for two hours with no word I went out and bought a new smartphone".

Frankly, that's ridiculous. Services go down, its a fact of life. Its like me saying "I couldn't get onto direct.gov.uk for two hours so I left the country".

Various teen/tween girls "I didn't know what to do without BBM", "It's ridiculous, I'm paying monthly for my phone and I expect it to work all the time".

That really irritates me. There was a life before BBM, go out and SPEAK to people. Use TEXT MESSAGING, or just plain call them. You aren't paying for BBM, so stop moaning about a silly one day outage. Think of all those poor Sidekick users...!

again it worked until aroune 10/11ish

though today i can can get on my browser which i couldn't yesterday

fb twitter apps all down for me

Nah i did hear a small tale that RIM were installing something there servers in next few weeks so they can monitor BBM's like networks do with texts so if its easier to help out law enforcements. but who knows!

Just got a txt from Orange saying that Blackberry are experiencing problems again...same generic message as yesterday

Why have we started to use this word? Surely its a service failure?

We dont seem to have power cuts any more either?! They are power outages.
