Perhaps you are forgetting the cancelled tour of China, South Africa, Australia and Argentina, due to poor ticket sales
Sorry to go off topic, but poor ticket sales were not the reason for canceling those legs. I don't think tickets had even gone on sale before they canceled.

from ultimate steps forum...

Final midweek position places the Ultimate Collection at #1!
This means if Steps are indeed #1 on Sunday, then I think they'll be the first British Boy/Girl group to get #1 albums in 3 consecutive decades.

It also means they would have beaten Take That, Spice Girls and Boyzone who failed to reach #1 with their post-reunion Greatest Hits albums

Just rewatching the performance from Daybreak earlier. I am loving these toned dance vocals combined with proper live singing.

I love the dancing, but if the tour was like this it'd be just brilliant.

Am so happy they're back. Bloody love Steps. Hope they keep popping up on TV over the next few months.

Rewatching the This Morning ones now. Need to get me Sky+ hooked up so I can transfer them to DVD.

The bright side of the first time they were around is that it was a lot easier to get everything onto a single video.

Depends how you look at it - they insulted the public with the bloody awful "comeback" single, they didn't put any effort in at all and it was obvious to the fans and casual buyers.

Perhaps you are forgetting the cancelled tour of China, South Africa, Australia and Argentina, due to poor ticket sales
that wasn't the reason. perhaps you are forgetting this is a thread about steps and their comeback. i was happy to initially set the record straight. however, i am not prepared to indulge you further. this is straying way off topic.

does anybody know how the steps album is doing in the friday midweeks?

Am on total Steps overload right now. My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 and a half years, he's always known I was a fan... He's just realised how deep the obsession runs.

At least he pretends to be interested in the chart performance information I keep giving him.

Does anyone know if they're miming or singing live on their TV appearances? Did sound as if they were live on Lorraine this morning on ITV, just after 9.

Wow. I'd never have imagined last week that they'd get anywhere near No.1.

It sounds to me as though they are singing live.

The pitch is lower on the live version today compared with the original.

I like the scaled back movement and the new harmonies to.
