It's slowly catching up on iTunes so I wouldn't bet on that!


I hope you bought them seperately...... And I don't think Evanesance will stay at number 1..... Even people I know who were planning on buying their new album have already said they're buying the Steps album instead.....

I think it's great that it's doing so well but forgive me for asking - do they stand to make much money from this album since very few of the compositions are written by the band members themselves? How does it work?

I think I may buy this album... I previewed the songs on iTunes earlier and I was instantly hit with a smack of nostalgia!

I'm so pleased for them that it's doing so well. I guess people still have a place in their hearts for Steps. Cheese all round everyone.

Is it too early to know how this is doing well in the official album chart? I am buying it tonight!!

It's currently on course to be number 2. Today it was 2000 behind evanescence but only 300 ahead of Adele.

I reckon by Sunday it will be

1. Adele
2. Steps
3. Evanescence

Which i think will be a pleasant surprise for almost everybody involved I honestly thought that it would struggle to scrape top 20. Shame on me for not having faith

Steps The Ultimate Collection both editions are out of stock on Amazon, and the DVD edition on HMV is shipping in 3-6 days.. so looks like that's temporarily out of stock too!

I didn't expect this success to be honest. I loved them back in the day and they're songs are pop gems. Can you imagine if they get the number 1 album on Sunday!

I didnt however with them being sold out and that could either be a good sign or a bad one. On the one hand it is selling well, on the other hand they could not have shipped loads to amazon which could be a bad thing.

Originally it wasn't on. But we all moaned at them on twitter about it (#justiceforWANE) and it ended up getting added to the dvd. Claire said the fan campaign got it added.

I wonder how long it would take them to get more in stock? Yep, you're right, this could cost them dearly, unfortunately.

yes i know! i dunno maybe 2-3 days or maybe a week. However this just means that if HMV are in the same situation that people will have to get off their butts and go down to HMV if they want either a physical copy of the CD+DVD version or just download it from itunes without the music videos i dunno if supermarkets are selling the CD+DVD version they rarely sell Deluxe versions of anything, or maybe that is just my area.

Our Tesco just had ONE of the CD only version left today.

like I said, mine had sold out completely. I do hope they sort this out soon.
