i think they will definitly be number 3 at the absolute worst on the offical chart on sunday, but more likely number 2, in todays midweeks they have pulled away by a few more hundred from adele at number 3 and have closed the gap on evanesence to 1900, they had been 2500 behind on tuesdays update, and im sure tonight show on living will give them a boost aswell as the ultimate collection got mentioned quite a few times.

they did sing live on this morning though which shows they are probably gonna do more live performances , back in the day they would have mimed on shows like this morning.

I also agree they never worried about been credible or relevant, from a tour perspective they were more aboiut putting on an entertaining show, i dont know for sure but didnt sing some stuff live on tours such as the slower numbers?
Firstly, most bands and singers mime on television because it is easier for all concerned. I wonder how many sing live on the X Factor? There is never a live band so...

It is impossible for anyone to sing and dance simultaneously. Most dance and mime because visually it looks more interesting.

Indeedie same here! I never thought i'd see the day that STEPS where #1 on the iTunes chart! I'm loving every single minute of it! :P Seriously we need to get these on X Factor! a sunday night performance would just be the cherry on the top of the cake for this STEPS Reunion, if they did I could see them doing a medley of 4 or 5 of their tracks!

Are you looking at it from the apple website thing? because i find that only correct like 85% of the time. If you look on the actual iTunes app and everything else STEPS are # 1 And it would i think they could have a 90's week and only have STEPS as the guest performer!

I KNOW! it sucks it has been like almost 4 weeks already apparently they where filming the last few bits the other day in a london hotel if i remember, apparently they will be sitting down and talking about the future and what it hold (dont take my word for it but it is just a rumor). So we know a new tour is happening, maybe a new album will be on its way next year?!?! If there is i would love another Sky Living Documentary about the process and the journey from like the rehearsals for the tour to the recording studio to putting out a new album!

i think they will get the tour out of the way first and then re-access the situation then? hopefully, there is some mileage in this comeback.

apparently, they were asked to perform on a previous series. so of course simon will say the steps re-union was his idea. sinitta is probably texting him as we speak, informing him the album is doing well. no doubt louis would think all his christmases have come at once!

I get that they suddenly ran out of money and had to cash in again, but surely all the 10 year olds that loved this stuff back then are somewhere in their mid-twenties now?

I'm in my 30's and I am scarily excited about the tour Downloaded all the albums, yes all, onto my iPod last night and had the tunes blasting in my car this morning....major funny looks

That said....£35 plus £6 booking fee for a ticket?? hmmmmmmm, is it just me being a typical tight Scot or is that a bit dear for a Steps concert???
