Steps was the first pop group that introduced me to music since i always believed that i couldn't enjoy music due to being deaf but STEPS changed all that so i have collected all their albums and been to ever tour they have done and purchased the tickets for their ultimate tour in april... so can't wait!!!!!

paradise lost and back to you are are favourite non steps single songs and both i think would have made great singles.

the nostalgia tour was a hit - but the half assed comeback single was a disaster - no questioning that

yes, the single flopped and the greatest hits didn't perform much better. like you said the tour was a hit, so in general the project was a success. of course there were nostalgic reasons behind people wanting to see them tour again. surely, that is the reason why people are buying steps tickets now?

Anyone got a chart update for where the album is?

so true - Its nostalgia marketing....known bands have been doing it for years - the gigs give you a night to relive your youth and possibly bring the kids to show how it was..

Problem was,it wasn't a real comeback..just a short term money maker.
Real comebacks involve a new album after the reunion tour/CD

there wasn't a problem. they did a reunion tour and it was successful. nobody suggested that is was a proper comeback.

I really love Dancing Queen. Very excited about this reunion it has to be said, Lisa annoys me at times with the moaning about the vocals but I can't help but still love her.
Theres 8 of us got row front in Newcastle, must be mad paying over £100 a ticket, but seeing I paid £85 for top tier near the back for the Spice Girls front row for that is a bargain. I get a crack shot at H from the front row

Depends how you look at it - they insulted the public with the bloody awful "comeback" single,they didn't put any effort in at all and it was obvious to the fans and casual buyers.

Perhaps you are forgetting the cancelled tour of China, South Africa, Australia and Argentina,due to poor ticket sales

if there #1 on itunes i fully expect a #1 album in the offical charts.
