It was absolutely brilliant, Sonya is such a wonderful character

So it was maybe a bit 'obvious' as metaphors go, but i liked how the Karl half of of the photograph disappeared when Susan opened the door at the end, rather clever i thought

Really enjoyed friday, i imagine that was the year finale? either that or there's alot happening on monday's episode

I thought evil 'you cheated' michael was hilarious, as was peter noonan walking out of his office like darth vader

nice to know Summer is selfish enough not to notice Chris is clearly in pain, but can notice something isn't right with Karl

Summer and Chris's friendship isn't very strong at all anymore. He's much closer to Andrew and Tash now which is ironic when you consider that he used to exist as a character purely to listen to Summer's problems and give her advice . Never mind, he's much better with Tash anyway .

I seriously LOL'ed at evil 'you cheated' Micheal too .

I love how protective of Chris Lucas is. It's a shame that they can't just let him be happy with Emilia rather than have her mixed up in the whole Micheal/Ghost-wife saga.

What a shame we'll soon have to watch Kate on her holiday, with yet more blokes throwing themselves at her....

Chris and Tashs friendship is one of the best on the show, they work so well together.

Agree 100%, compared to say kate and jade which seems too forced (but that's mainly kate's fault )

Neighbours really is flying high. All the 'character led' stories are brilliant at the moment, along with their natural pacing. I am thinking all the Karl/Mal/Susan stuff (it has worked because it has been brilliantly written...especially all the references to Karl's past and the parallels drawn between 'Old Karl' and 'Current Mal'. Love it. The recent scene between Susan and Karl in the kitchen area was really touching. I was hanging on their every word)...plus the recent Jade reveal, the Emilia/Michael reveal and the Chris stuff. Chris being gay doesn't define him which is inspired. He is the best gay character on telly.

Sensationalism is being avoided, and the show is better for it. Other soaps could learn a lot from Neighbours.

Really going to miss Mal and Dane...both well written, well crafted characters.

It was good how they portrayed Mal as a younger Karl and it helped to enable Karl to reflect on his own past mistakes.

Dane was ok as a guest character.

I really hope Karl and Susan get back together again, they belong together.

Will miss Dane, think he is great, hopefully he will come back again in the future, think he has been a great hit with the fans.

I think it's pretty inevitable that Karl and Susan will get back together

By the way has anyone been watching Margot Robbie (Donna) on Pan Am? She's absolutely great in it, I think she'll be the latest Neighbours who makes it really big in the US. I could honestly see her doing movies.

I would say Karl and Susan will get back together but probably not for awhile, I think Karls love interest has already been lined up and I think there may possibly be something going on between Susan and Paul in the next few months.

Yeah thats what I heard as well, Paul and Susan would be really intresting, there is defantly some chemistry between those two, time Paul had a woman in his life.

Wonder what Karl will think, we know how much he and Paul get along.

Yes...I totally agree. It was a clever bit of writing wasn't it.

I don't think that Paul and Susan will be getting together - I think Susan will be protecting Summer due to everyone finding out the truth of her cheating on the first exam. Also I loved the episodes with Kyle chasing Jade - that was truly romantic. I love Jade and Kyle. I do think that Kate is sooo boring and I think Sophie should get over herself. Also I did not like the storyline with Mal - he was extra boring I think that he should have gone back to England ages ago. But I loved the character Dane he was hilarious such a smile to the show. But I love Neighbours and I totally do think that it is a show that No-One should be missing.

I can't wait to find out what will happen next with Jade and Kyle - apparently her ex will be returning and there will defonitely be some trouble there.

God, when Emilia said a dress like Kate's deserves to get taken out and shown off all I could think was "that dress needs burnt".

I get the feeling I'm supposed to feel bad for Toadie but... I don't.

In Australia do they know you can look at x-rays about 5 mins after they've been taken?

I thought yesterday's episode flew by, i just wanted to keep watching

I actually thought Kate looked.. quite nice her supposed 'going off the rails' is absolute nonsense though, lucky escape for jade with her 6am client

Really starting to like Rhys now, he's a doctor that's almost the opposite of Karl and it's good to see the personalities clash

What bugs me about this storyline is the writers paint her as some kind of saint, selflessly looking after Sophie and working for these past few years and now she's ready to do what she wants. Kate has always done what she wants. What about her god awful dancing storyline? the various guys she's dated/slept with? The fact that she wanted to uproute Sophie so hey could leave with Mark? 'Saint Kate' has done plenty for herself. She was only ever overworked when the storyline needed her to be. And of course she caught the eye of yet another guy, because everyone falls in love with Kate at first glance....
I have to admit to laughing a bit when Jade cancelled on her..... I don't believe the Jade/Kate friendship at all. Most of the time the writers forget about it so it just seems forced.

Im glad Chris is ok and Rhys is seriously HOT

I caught a bit of Spartacus Vengeance the other night and was like "it's the guy from neighbours"

I haven't seen Neighbours for a few years now, I was an avid fan for 20 years and then I couldn't get a very good pic on Ch5 so I gave up, thats all solved now but I think its too late to get back into it but reading this thread I'm glad to see Karl,Susan and Toadie are still there.
Maybe I'll try catching up at bit and then badgering you with questions such as where is so and so

It's Sophie who goes of the rails not kate.
