Sleeps with Lucas once, turns up pregnant, says she wants nothing to do with him, makes him look bad when he asked a sensible question like is it his baby and then the only place in the whole of Erinsborough to live and work is his house and the coffee shop he uses. I don't blame him asking if it's his. She only knew him for a few hours before she dropped 'em - how does he know she's not always like that. She's not a nice character either and has a rotten personality. She needs to keep her cake making paws off the lovely looking Rhys and go back to wherever she came from.

Rhys may be lovely looking but bear in mind he's pretty vile at times when it comes to personality. Tomorrow looks like it'll be another shining Rhys moment. I find Vanessa annoying in her own storyline but in the background I find her okay. I'm curious to see what secrets she has, because let's face it there's got to be some reason she has nowhere else to go

I honestly don't think so. They really haven't thought Vanessa through in my opinion and she is an unremarkable actress. Let's face it, there's only two reasons she was chosen for the part... If I was the boss at Neighbours I would've turned down this character. She's one-dimensional and in my view, does not fit in at all. She was brought along to give Mucus something to do because frankly, it's time he went!

He had more purpose when Emilia was there until they went and assassinated her character to hook her up with Michael Williams. I agree that she doesn't really fit in that well though and I'm not a fan of them sticking her in Harold's Store. It would've made more sense to me to have her as the manager of Charlie's.

I at least hope they have some sort of backstory for her, she kinda hinted towards that in the DS interview she gave. Knowing Neighbours though, it probably won't be that interesting

Yeah I agree about Emelia and Lucas entirely. I think Kate had outgrown Charlie's to be fair, but I do agree Charlie's does seem a bit beneath someone like Vanessa. They don't seem to know how to define her somehow. The truth is, even if she isn't a bitch, she would work best in that kind of role. Stick her with Paul Robinson!

I was thinking about it. I don't know why I'm still watching. I do not watch it regularly like I used to but occasionally storyline interest me. I think there needs to be a massive cast cull. It is quicker to list those who should stay.

To stay - Kyle, Sonya, Susan, Aiden.

If I had to pick a top 5 to go it would be Kate, Sheila, Rhys, Priya, Chris - I can't stop at 5 - Tash, Andrew. I don't think I'd care if Lou or Karl went either really.
