Vanessa binning that cake was one of those really annoying soap clichés. Why do characters always bin perfectly good cake/chocolates/flowers when they're vexed? I think it was a little out of character for someone whose passion is food, and was more for dramatic effect.

I liked those Susan/Elaine scenes, and it's nice to see Elaine mixing with more characters. As much as I've been liking Kate more recently, I find that she doesn't drive story at all - everyone around her has to do it for her: Sheila, Jade, Kyle, Sophie, are all moving this story for her, and that's really grating. It's like they don't want her to *do* anything in case it makes her seem out of character or something, so instead she's just there being passive.

I actually think he can act, and I think he's proven that on more than one occasion.

Yes, Chris's one-liner to Lucas when he asked what he's really having for dinner tonight - 'Probably Corn Flakes!' - was hilarious and delivered with great comedy timing! So leave Chris alone!

Strange seeing Michael in a cameo there! Though I thought it was a bit stilted if I'm going to be honest. Plus what kind of parent moves to a different country at the drop of a hat, leaving your teenage daughter behind, then sells the house she's living in and removes all the furniture, leaving her homeless and not tell her till the last minute?!

I like it when we see vulnerable Rhys. He is so scared of love. Parental abandonment will do that.

And Michael is now an international tosser, able to ruin his daughter's life from the other side of the world.

Oh, and from the looks of things, tomorrow's episode might make us throw things at the screen.

I found the whole of tonight's episode absolutely boring yet again, Tasha rushing around trying to bully people was silly, especially the Michael bit and I agree Gulfy I might have to give tomorrow a miss for the sake of my TV staying intact

Yeah where did that comment about Chris 'trying to act' come from? James Mason does a great job playing Chris.

I THOUGHT WE WERE RID OF MICHAEL WILLIAMS. We'd better be. Tell me he's gone. Could they not have dropped a piano on him after he hung up the phone so we know he wouldn't be back?

I know Tash is polarising but I love her. I really doubt she would've let Lucas and Vanessa move in, but there's no way anyway she could've kept up living in that house on a waitress salary.

It was probably filmed prior to his exit. Like they did with the Steph and Dan storyline when she gave him the baby.

I think that is the last we see of Michael finally!!

By the way, in yesterday's episode who was the Hugh that Vanessa was baking a cake for. She sent a text to Rhys saying something like:

"I'm baking Hugh a cake"??

It was Rhys. Earlier, when they were both having the massages, Rhys commented on how he thought he looked like Hugh Hefner walking around in his dressing gown.
So it was a little flirty text from Vanessa before she saw Rhys' darker side.

I noticed that and wondered who Hugh was, but I've missed a few eps recently so put it down to that

LOL @ your services!

I've missed a couple of episodes recently so can anyone here tell me how Kate is working at Charlies? And how did Vanessa get the job at Harold's?

Thanks.

I wanted the removal men to pick up Tash and carry her out, with her just staring in front of her.

Thanks for clearing that up! I must have missed the Hugh Hefner reference!

Yes I can't see what's wrong with this comment. I didn't see the episode but since this is 'Neighbours', her appearance can't have been too risque. Plus, the comment only suggests she looks 'cute'.
