Matsui PVR recording?
Ok here's a weird thing.
I have a cheepo Matsui twin tuner which I bought on ebay about four years ago for £30, it works fine and tonight it was recording CH4 and was to set record BBC1 half an hour later, in the mean time it was left on CH5 while I was watching a recording from the library, when it finished it went back to tv but was still on CH5 while recording the other two channels, normally when I'm recording two at once I can't change to a different channel without stopping one of the recordings? I'm not complaining btw

Channel 4 and Channel 5 are on the same MUX. The tuner tunes into the entire mux not an individual stream on the mux. The stages following the tuner extract the programme stream you want to watch. So if the box can extract two streams from a single mux then it is perfectly possible to record two and watch a third channel even though the box only has two tuners.
