I've gone for 'Deeper Shade of Blue'.

I have got a soft spot for 'Last Thing on my Mind', but because that was a cover, I went for an original song.

Yay! I was the first to vote, making Chain Reaction the best ever! for now at least. Any hows, I just LOVE CR, its so damn great, the video is super too. The one-shot hospital scene, and then the choreography part, and the dancing, a really great dance routine. and the drums, and the way you see the drummers and steps dancing at the same time. Fierce.

It's a tough one. I love them all, but finally went with You'll Be Sorry. I can't believe it wasn't a bigger hit. It was slightly overshadowed by Here and Now at the time. Damn those double-A sides!

ITWYMMF, Deeper Shade of Blue, One For Sorrow and After The Love Has Gone are other favourites of mine.

Mira has to be Summer of Love. Followed closely by Deeper Shade of Blue and Chain Reaction.

It's not a fast one, surprisingly enough.

But I love It's The Way You Make Me Feel.

I hated Steps (and always preferred S Club 7 to them) but for some reason I loved Say You'll Be Mine. I had the single on cassette.

Summer of Love for me, followed by Stomp. I like their early stuff but I think the songs from Buzz were much better than their first two albums. I'd also include H and Claire's DJ in that, which sounds like it should have been on Buzz and was probably produced by people they were working with as Steps.

Can't believe ITWYMMF is already out ahead! Hope that changes, it's standardly soppy pop pap. Heartbeat is a miles better ballad. Here And Now got my vote, for IMO its genuinely superiorly crafted pop depth and breadth, closely followed by Deeper Shade Of Blue and Last Thing On My Mind (in spite - or because of - them both being covers).

My personal favourite is one for sorrow. However my favourite song is Just Like The First Time, which is on the Here and Now single:disc 2.

I see Summer Of Love is currently second. Always considered the verses of that to be suspiciously close to Saint Etienne's 'Pale Movie', whereas the choruses bear an overly-striking resemblance to 'Flashdance'!

Gosh, I know. I just read on wiki after you said it was a cover. Though to this day, I haven't a clue what Tina Cousins actually sang - she's a bit of a Patti LaBelle in that sense for me.
