Oh and I just remembered, wasn't he dating Lulu at the time??!!
He was. That had to be one of the weirdest celebrity relationships ever!

I loved Night and Day. I don't think it was marketed correctly though and was on at completely the wrong time!

Does anyone know what happened to the actress who played Jane as I thought she was very good? I think she turned up in Crossroads mark 3 but I dont think I've seen her in anything else since.
I think she was in Hollyoaks - In the City a few years later - but she looked quite different to Jane.

ITV messed this show about a bit by giving up on the teatime episodes and moving the evening ones around the schedules so much that it was almost impossible to follow.

I didn't see the full run but the early episodes were very good - perhaps a little too innovative for daytime TV - and the expectations of ITV teatime viewers - at that time.

They had an amazing cast for a soap!

Georgina Walker appeared in episodes of Hollyoaks: In The City in 2006, but hasn't been seen since.

Personally, I thought Stephanie Leonidas (Della) was more talented! She appeared on a BBC drama earier this year called Atlantis, but she's more of an underground/short film actress.

Was it Shane Ritchie's character that had been stalking Jane during the start of Night and Day?

No, that was the red haired girl who was jealous of Jane's relationship with Josh.

I thought Night and Day was brilliant - as some have said... totally mad, although it didn't start out that way... Here is Jane's CV:

I loved that show. It was so weird but at the same time it kind of made sense....or does that just say something about my mentality :P

I LOVED Night and Day, Josh and Della were probably one of my favourite soap couples ever, glad they ended up together.

The storylines were bonkers and most of the time made no sense whatsoever but the actors were all brilliant so it was enjoyable, even if you had absolutely no idea what was going on.

After a while though i did almost forget all about Jane and didn't really care where she'd gone or if she'd ever come back, i preferred Della and Kate (before her and Frankie went all weird with their 'Virgin Army' storyline her bitchiness was great to watch).

It really was like the British (obviously less successful but in my opinion better) version of Lost, the plots got wackier and wackier and the ending was a bit simple for all that build up but you couldn't help but love it.

Night and Day was amazing (at the time) if somewhat surreal.

Didn't it come on after Crossroads before it was moved to the night time schedule?

King George St in Greenwich was where the exterior shots took place....

Phoebe Thomas who starred in it later went onto Holby City...

you can see why they chose that street, it would of been easy enough to adapt soap set like it had it taken off.

Not really. I did find one website a few months ago, but that only had the first omnibus on it. It's very frustrating!

It was a nice try at doing something different, but it never really worked hey way they must have wanted it to at the start.
For a 'bonkers soap' it pailed next to the brilliant Days Of Our Lives.
Having said that, it was still pretty watchable.

Wonder what happened to the stunning blonde actress?

I thought Jane returned before the last episode.

Will was the the one who was killed and hidden in a box and transformed into a robot. ryan harper became a transexual. Mike who was with Fiona played by Glynis Barber, he went gay and tried it on with everyone in the toilets - not sure if it was Dennis or Ryan he fell for.

I also remember Shane Ritchie and Bradley Walsh coming into it.
Was his character called Woody?

Perhaps EE could have done Lucy's Murder like Jane's, gone missing & spent ages trying to find her with some crazy story to go with it.
