HDD drive stops recording at midnight

As it says in the title, when I use the EPG to set up a programme which straddles midnight, the recording stop at midnight.

I have a Toshiba RD100KB HDD/DVD recorder.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Have just phoned Toshiba, and apparently it's a known fault with a couple of models. Software update disk is on its way in the post. Thanks Tosh, excellent.
