Neighbours - that Mac girl

I can't quite figure her out, I thought she was working undercover and after Jack but now I'm not so sure.
She wasn't a very happy bunny at the end of today's episode too.
She looked quite scary in fact, is she a fruitloop ?

I never thought she was working undercover, just wants to keep her work and social life completely separate. At work she is completely different and then out of work she is a party animal!

remember when she and Jack had that ridiculous car accident (the sort you only see on Neighbours), when the police car arrived she told Jack to leg it and she looked very worried that the cops would see him, I thought maybe she was undercover which would have explained her reaction.
And what was in the enveloppe that guy in the car park gave her ?
Very mysterious indeed. That time she looked like a crooked cop. And where did all that money came from ?

Isn't it all about drugs? She told Jack to leave after the crash because they might notice he had been using them. And then in the envelope i just assumed it was drugs from different things i have read.

yes that sounds plausible.

As i'm about five weeks ahead of you guys I can tell you that...

Spoiler
yes, its all about Drugs. Jack has turned into a serious addict. Its all been done subtly - they never show Jack taking the drugs, (coz of the timeslot and stuff) but they show him after hes come down from his high. Mac also gets Jack involved in an insurance scam with the building site. She gets her friend to rob it so Jack can collect the money, and then lets Darren take the blame. Mac is one bent copper!

So there you go!

My god, Neighbours should stick to comedy storylines.

Why do they always portray people who enjoy a night out as alcoholics or drug addicts?

For that matter why do they always portray people who use drugs as drug addicts and wreckless?

Because of the timeslot and the fact that children are watching they can only show the negative consequences of drugs. They'd never ever do anything else with a drugs storyline.

True, but it makes the show rather preachy and unrealistic.

Not quite as bad as Hollyoaks' take on drug use but still ;o)

because the BBC is always sticking its oar in and they like to give us lecture any chance they get.

She doesn't even call herself Mac in work does she? Isn't she called Olivia? Then as soon as she's out with Jack she turns into Mac

Yeah...her full name is Olivia Macpherson. so she uses her real first name at work and her nickname (derived from her surname) Mac when shes clubbing.
