I don't have any particular order...
*Sarah Lou's pregnancy- just a shock to another (At the time) thirteen year old! *Mike's wedding to Linda and the fact that she was having an affair with his son, Mark. It got an hour special- I thought that was pretty dramatic. *'You ain't my mother!' 'Yes, I am!'- When I watched Eastenders, I was hooked on this plot- the acting was top standard! *The intial serial killer storyline on Hollyoaks- Was shocked when Io found out it was Toby but now they're taking it too far... *Todd's affair with Karl and the reprecussions from his coming out- It's the one soap story that has really affected me. It was very dramatic, well scripted and well acted though!

Richard Hillman bumping off Maxine. That was seriously gripping..
Then there's the You ain't my muvva thing, agree totally there. Fair City's Billy Meehan murder thing was great. Practically the only worthwhile thing I;ve ever seen on the show! Also Steve Owen's exit from the square. And... I suppose Sarah's pregnancy number 1 was highly dramatic too.. can't think of anything more-so at the moment anyway. |

In no perticular order...
Killer Corrie A shot in the arm for Corrie, and a slick operation in the publicity. Who Shot Phil? A great continued whodunnit, really exciting stuff. "You Aint My Mother!" Shocking and brutal, like an open wound. unbeatable acting. "Strawberry Blonde at Seventy" The Fowler-Mitchell war. Pauline vs Peggy. seconds out, round one. The End of the Mitchells Doesn't get much more dramatic than Phil, Grant & the Thames. ...so that's that. no one said it had to be all inclusive. did they? EastEnders probably features so heavily, because it's very nature is far more dramatic than the others. There is simply a higher frequency of dramatic moments (Steve Owens spiralling and explosive exit almost made it onto the list, before I remembered the Mitchell crash was in 1999, which was 5 years ago) within EastEnders. |

Perhaps you need a top twenty!
By the way, Sarah Louise discovered that she was pregnant at 13, but if her birthday is in January and Bethany's is in May, she was only 13 and 4 months when Bethany was born, making her pregnant at roughly 12 and 7 months. |

Richard Hillman's confession episode was electric. It was 35 minutes long and truly superb. Gail's fear as Richard pinned her to the sofa, she shouted at him and the confessions kept coming. Then Richard being thrown out and you heard the rushing of the train as he looked murderous and ran away - then Gail called her mum and started crying.
Captivating. |

I think Wednesday's Corrie (The first half at least) deserves a mention. I thought it was heartbreaking!
