I dont know who the male vocal was, but according to research it may have been recorded by the Glee cast.

I honestly don't think the choice of song, could get any worse for the beeb.

I can see why someone might suggest it as a joke, what with the show being on Friday and all, but I hope to god this choice is not an example oft he kind of creative thinking we can expected from the BBC post DQF.

They could have used "Friday I'm in Love" by The Cure

I'm just pleased The Impressions Show has a pre-watershed slot because 10.30 was a ridiculous slot for it last year, it's harmless family fun and deserves an appropriate slot. I know the last run was repeated at teatime but that just made it even more confusing.

ITV has ordered a new episode of out-take show 'It'll Be Alright on the Night' to air later this year, the first new episode since 2008.

Why?

And in rather amusing information, the 1-minute peak(!) for The X Factor on Sunday was 14.043 million at 20:56 excluding +1.

Joanna Lumley’s Greek Odyssey: 3.6m (16.3%) - source, Attentional. Doesn't surprise me considering how poorly her repeats have done.

Why?”

Its a good reliable filler. I'm surprised they dont do more.

It used to be the show they put on when they pulled a show from primetime.

It was two stand alone episodes.

I'm aware of that although ABC counted it as an hour from a ratings perspective rather than two separate episodes. Unlike CBS and the The Big Bang Theory premiere which was classed as two separate episodes. I would assume that's because the hour long average inflated the network average slightly more than counting them as two separate episodes.

after the big flop that was Red or Black? I think Ant & Dec should be looking for a show of much higher quality than "'It'll Be Alright on the Night'" still its only 1 episode, so it wont kill their career.

Their a safe pair of hands but it should be someone new. It'll probably be Vernon Kaye or Keith Lemon.

I think Jonathon Ross would be perfect for It'll be Alright on the night. It should be presented by someone with a wry, quirky sense of humour. It would be perfect for Johnathon and could turn around his disappointing start on ITV.

I guess not a bad rating for a cheap show, but I imagine the demographics aren't very advertiser friendly.

Was it a repeat, or a new series? If it was a new series, then there hasn't been much of an ad campaign.

It's a repeat. Series 2 was only commissioned in July.

Perish the thought, but I don't suppose her fee was huge in terms of the overall series budget. Personally I'd be happy with an all-expenses-paid holiday plus, say, £500 spending money...

Big Brother got 1.39m, the second highest Thursday night rating (just behind last weeks 1.42m).

Bit on the Side really does perform well for them at 11pm, managing 535k. Quite impressive that 35%-40% of the BB HL audience, tune into BOTS.
