The last 4 episodes of Celebrity Juice have skewed by an average of 55% of its audience being female and 45% being male. That's a higher male skew than the norm for TV shows, especially on ITV2 which is normally a more female skewing channel. Among men 16-34, Juice was the most popular show in its slot among all channels in the last couple of weeks and almost certainly last night too.

That will be mainly down to the lovely Miss Willoughbooby, I shouldn't wonder.

Ah, it's only 1/4 of a contestant - if true. Nicole Shirzherface rumoured to be stepping in for Kelly - although of course if it was truly just flying Kelly was prevented from doing assuming she has her voice she could always appear via video link.

That's me told, then. I'm guessing all these men are simply sitting there while their partners demand to watch it (he says, safe in the knowledge there are no statistics to disprove this theory).

Murray lost in the semi-final of the French Open this year.

He won all prior matches in straight sets except one match which went to 5 sets.

Hoping for Hollyoaks to top the Multichannel charts tonight. Bit much to ask for a million with +1 ...?

FOX should be delighted with their Game 6 of World Series as it attracted 21.1m and 6.5 in A18-49. Also in the finals, The Vampire Diaries beat Community in A18-49 (1.5 vs 1.4). Prime Suspect was adjusted down to a troubling 1.1 with 4.030m viewers.

Is it fair to judge Prime Suspect when it airs against the World Series?

Prime Suspect's numbers were really bad to begin with. This was just making further damages to the show. ABC's lineup held up well against World Series and so did The CW. CBS declined but still at great numbers.

How much of CBS's line up have changed tonight with the last World Series game being on Fox and have NBC still gone ahead with the premieres of Chuck and Grimm?? If 21 million watched the baseball last night i think NBC would be silly too start them off with that competition tonight

from Digital Spy

Quote:
“CBS has pulled its Friday show lineup due to the Word Series.

Original episodes of CSI: NY, Blue Bloods and A Gifted Man will be replaced by repeats of CSI: NY, A Gifted Man and CSI: Miami.

Viewers can watch the Gifted Man pilot before encores of the CSI shows. No Blue Bloods repeat will air.”

I think its the right decision, despite early doubts about this WS, a Game 7 should rate really well.

And one of the contestant bands has had to change its name after a charity using the same name threatened to sue.

Quite right too. Good on 'em - taking on Cowell and winning.

Then again, everyone is this year...

The X Factor's the number one rating show in the officials at the moment (that's currently on air)...everyone? I think Strictly could beat The X Factor in the overnights tomorrow; the gap's much smaller than previous years and The X Factor always takes a hit on Halloween Saturday - that on top of the hit it's already taking.

Celebrity Juice is the stand out rating of last night. It seems ages since Coronation Street beat EastEnders on a Thursday but neither rating is impressive. Big Brother did ok, and it was another slightly surprising eviction tonight so it'll be interesting to see how it rates.

I was talking generally about the Cowell Empire. Which isn't having the best of 2011s.

BTW, a touch of underpredicting there Fudd? Sure, TXF will probably take a little hit, but so will SCD. And there's no overlap I think tomorrow either - which should boost both shows, but probably TXF more.

So we've got an XF contestant quitting, an old contestant returning, one accused of being a benefits cheat, a judge 'quitting', one of the US judges flying over to save the show & a group being forced to change their name. Cowell couldn't ask for much more really.

I feel out of the loop, are you even allowed to quit X-Factor? I thought getting passed the first audition, meant that Cowell owned your soul for the next 10 years?

As for a Judge quitting, this is either true or a desperate play for publicity, that may back fire, and make it look like the show ACTUALLY IS in crisis, and not in a manufactured crisis.

Not sure what the rest means, HOWEVER its not really fair to suggest that a band having to rename itself is evidence of a show in crisis, when in reality its nothing but tabloid fodder of the best kind.

The question is of course, can all this really be enough for show to drop say 3 million viewers, and leave it with 7million (including +1), that would be real evidence of the show being in crisis.

I don't understand the significance of this as I don't watch TXF but the front page splash in The Sun says Kelly Rowland has quit as a judge saying she's ill.

Hmm there was alot of speculation by the media that Simon was unahppy with the judges and planning to ditch one and return. I'd take a guess she really is ill and will return next week. Funny how all the big XF stories break on a Friday night/Saturday morning...
