The exit was poor but she can't have a glorious exit as she will back in a few weeks! She hasn't left for good.

I can't believe no-one has mentioned this yet....Ronnie -what a Tw*t! Walks out of a pub, police right in front of him and he STILL gets in a car. And none of this "Oh he didn't see the cops", how could you not! At least make it so the cops were NOT in visibilty of Ronnie, but they can see him. Everyone in my house was like "You are joking, at least make it realistic",

I'm sure she sent Zoe a text or something as presumably she's not going far.”

It’s not just that it would be pointless to have a full on leaving story (with all the trimmings!) but I’m pretty sure it would have been dangerous to Jessie Wallace’s health and that of her baby… if she was so ill she had to leave work they’re hardly going to make her film for days just so Kat can say goodbye to everyone… it was a hastily written and filmed exit, not one the top bods had been planning for months…

Maybe those who think it was lacking didn’t realise what was going on behind the scenes? If I was watching it not knowing Kat had to be written out sharpish I might have thought it was a bit lame too…..

How will Kat survive without money though ? It wasnt that long ago that they were struggling to find £80 to pay Alfie - now she can afford a cab ride, and (we assume) no job for a few months

Well for the sake of an extra 30 seconds you would have thought she could have said goodbye. She spent enough time talking to Alfie in the hallway. Stop using her health problems as an excuse for a poor ending

But it wasn't an ending, she is coming back. Also, why does everyone have to leave with a massive storyline. In real life, people just leave!

I know it wasnt an ending but it was a totally unrealistic way to leave the square even if she was only going to Batty Belinda's for a few days or a few weeks

I would of said in 'real life' people would tell their families before they left ...especially their daughter.

That is true, but she might have called her when she got to "Bels" as she is coming back. I would tell my family, but this is EE!

I would *have* thought it was not beyond the realms of possibility that she could *have* phoned her daughter from the cab??

I thought it was a good ending, the scenes werent' anything heavy as she just wasn't up to it, all she was allowed do were scenes that were necessary, an then get her home. And you just have to use your imagination as to how she told Zoe and the rest of the family.

People seem to forget Jessie Wallace is heavily pregnant and had been a bit of an ordeal. I think you should cut her some slack. She did the best she could.

I didn't really understand the whole 'Im going away so we can see how much we love each other and it will all be better when I get back'. What was Alfie supposed to do? Doesn't seem very realistic.
Also PLEASE let Sasha interact more with people other than the Ferreirars. She is a fun character but they drag her down with their rotten storylines.

Didn't think the writing for her mini-exit was too bad, better than some anyway.

BUT for god's sake - she wants Alfie to contact her when he's in a better frame of mind. Er, she didn't tell him where she was going.

She isn't leaving for good so she didn't need one.

How ever good episode apart from the farrieras bits The Millers seem like they are going to be a great EE family.”

I thought the idea behind her leaving was just silly, conmtived and rushed. We are left to assume that she had told her family, if the producers ever considered it

I get very irritated by the Millers, particularly the children. They are not funny and continual stealing and truanting is not amusing either.

Ronnie did not see the Police because he was drunk
