Corrie Double Ep
Ridget

Wow, the party was great, loved the characters used like Tyrone and Maria etc, great. Felt sorry for Ty. Love the Rosie thing and the build up to Todd finding out.

The party was constructed well and a wide range of characters were used. Rita/Norris/Rula was superb!

One thing - I think they took advantage of Tina and Ryan going out in real life - talk about saucy!

Yeah Ryan and Tina were certainly enjoying themselves - lots more moans and noises than normal for a soap kiss!

There was a little scene at the end of episode one where Sean was talking about the hard time he got with bullying and no friends and I thought it was nice to have him in a scene where he was not there for pure comic value.

I know, it was really saucy!!! I thought it was very cringeworthy though, I felt uncomfortable watching it, I think because I didn't particularly find the Sarah/Jason thing believeable, I don't think they have any on screen chemistry. The final scene was a nice set up for Todd finding out and leaving the street though!

The swingers party was hilarious, I was in hysterics when Norris fell through Rula's door!!!

And the party was also good, I loved the conversation between Tyrone and Maria especially.

I find it believable. I can understand how a girl who was with a guy who turned out to be gay would love the idea of feeling wanted again by someone who really does want her - even if it was his brother!

Yep they are, but they're not playing themselves on screen....I personally didn't think that Sarah and Jason had any chemistry and I didn't find it believeable, although that might have something to do with the fact that Tina, usually a good actress, can't act drunk!

Lol.. seriously? I actually thought they were having a little too much fun to be honest.. I can just imagine someone having to yell "CUT!" 5 times or so, before calling for a bucket of water.

The Rosie thing is actually less irritating that previously. Looks like the new Sophie has disappeared already. The scenes with Kevin in his robe, we could've done without though! It also struck me that Craig Harris looks as old as Warren Baldwin! Or at least as tall!

It was great to see more of Eileen tonight, and to have a break from the Steve/Karen and Dev/Sunita plots for a change.

Rita and Norris' adventure was just too funny. Had to laugh at Norris' expressions..

Also agree the Maria/Tyrone convo was a nice touch. Poor Candice! She always gets it so wrong! The Katy/Martin scenes just irritated me though, as did the Ashley/Claire ones.

I thought the scenes and chemistry between Sarah and Jason were believable. It was nice to see Sarah enjoying herself again after all what she's been through. It was also nice to see a bit more depth to Sean, who I think is a very likeable character. I enjoyed both episodes tonight.

Corrie was very good tonight. The whole thing seemed to all slot into place.

I was like! omg! at Tina and Ryan, I don't think they were actually acting at all, wow saucy or what! I only saw the 2nd epi of Corrie but it was fab, really enjoyed the swingers storyline, it was so funny, the oldies of Corrie rock! go Norris, Go Norris, its your birthday! lol

The scene where Norris fell into Rula's room was hilarious! So were all the other scenes with him and or Rita/Rula!
The stuff between Jason and Sarah was so saucy and i could definitely see a lot of chemistry (probably as they really are an item) and like someone else said, it did look like they were enjoying themselves too much!

I thought the Sarah/Jason thing was well done - I didn't know they were an item in real life so just thought they were acting better than usual. Sarah looked excited and happy for once, very different from her usual accusing looks at everyone within glaring distance.

I loved the Norris and Rita bits too. it's always good when some of the older characters get something to do other than just sit around in the Rovers moaning. Though Norris is often very funny, as is Blanche. I used to like Norris's scenes with Derek and Mavis, way back when he first joined the Street.

I felt really sorry for tyrone tonight - it's obvious he's still holding a candle for Maria. Wonder if they'll ever get back together.

Gay stereotypes? Surely there are lots of different types of gays, so to speak, those that act in an affected manner, and those who don't appear gay. Surely it is realistic to have a range of this shown?

As for Tina O'Brien, why don't they just actually get her drunk to make it more realisitc?

No offence mate...Sean maybe but he isn't the queen bee as everyone expected. Todd....couldn't be further from a stereo type, same with Karl?!?

I enjoyed the two episodes. I don't think Jason and Sarah have much chemistry on screen - but I don't think their meant to, as far as I know it, along with being the device for Todd's final leaving, it is just a one night stand, not much chemistry needed for those (or so I'm told ). Norris and Rita's adventure was a hoot, and yes, I will admit, Sean is growing on me. He's calmed totally down from the first few episodes and now seems to be showing a bit of depth, also the relationship between him and his surrogate mum Eileen is shaping up nicely.

I enjoyed it, but i thought the moaning was a little OTT. If it were me snogging Jason i would of laughed in his face. He sounded like he was having a difficult bowel movement
