I've been having problems with downloading BBC iplayer after being forced into downloading the new version. At first the dotted circle on the iplayer site takes ages and keeps turning but does nothing and it keeps telling me that the installer file is damaged.

I've tried contacting the BBC iplayer team but to no avail. Can someone please help?
