She's one of the worst characters on Corrie, and she has almost every storyline going. Made me switch off last night and Corrie do not need her I can see this show heading the way Eastenders was early this year with acting like that.

I agree with Yasmin. I thought the whole thing was totally unbelievable. Sarah-Louise is a crap actress and so I could hardly bear to watch it ! Doesn't that girl ever keep her legs crossed !

I don't think she is that good either I mean everyone said how good she was with the teen baby story but Natalie Cassidy In eastenders put Tina OBrian to shame with her performance I don't know why Sarah Lou Is not dead yet

She's got to be one of the worse in soap, she annoys me on and off screen her head is so far up her own a*se. Probably thinks she's better than the show itself.

Yeh but you can't really compare the Tina and Natalie on their baby storylines, they were totally different and required totally different reactions. Sarah knew she was preggers, therefore there were no hysterics when she went into labour. Whereas Sonia was in complete and utter shock, this was Natalie's finest EastEnders moment and cemented her status as one of EE's big names.

I have to say though Tina O Brien has given some good performances too, and obviously some people like her as she's been in a lot of the most controversial storylines in the past three years.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Totally different storylines, Sonia was older than Sarah. Why compare the 2 anyways!

Tina is unfairly judged as a good actress - other actresses on the show such as Nikki Sanderson (Candice) and Jennie McAlpine (Fiz) have had nowhere near the same amount of screen time as Sarah, so could be just as good as her! lets concentrate on some other characters apart from the Platt family for a while.

In my opinion Natalie Cassidy's acting is more often than not below average. Her emotional scenes when Jamie died were appalling.

Funny how we all see things differently. Most actors find playing scenes drunk very difficult. My comment last night was that Tina O'Brien can play drunk brilliantly because it seemed so real!

Dont like Sarah or Jason think they should both leave.

Natalie Cassidy is a poor actress, in my opinion, but recieves plaudits because she is ugly, so people imagine there must be something to her to justify her casting! Tina O'Brien is pretty, underneath the Sarah-Louise chav look - but I still think she's a rotten actress, too.

I never used to mind the character but she's really annoyed me in the last few months and think she needs to be given a rest so that the other youngsters on the show, like Candice and Maria, can be given the chance to shine!

Tina's usually a good actress but she was appalling last night, I felt embarrassed for her when she was trying to act drunk, it just wasn't convincing!

That's a pretty immature comment. Who are you to say she thinks she's better than the show, like? I mean unlike Suranna Jones etc. she hasn't been making unrealistic pay demands, she hasn't ledt to pursue a pop career or to have a go at Hollywood. Therefore I think it's safe to say a statement like that is totally unfounded.

I think Tina O'Brien is a capable actress, but I agree Sarah needs a break from major plots for a bit. But that goes for all of the Platts really.

As for giving other characters a chance.. well, more Fiz would be great. She's hilarious ,but she's not very diverse. She never does much more than the usual light comic scenes. I think Maria gets enough screentime as it is, and is totally boring. The Nick plot was so irritating. As for Nikki Sanderson's acting.. it really is no where the standard of Tina's. Even when Candice is in a good mood, she sounds bored and looks put out. She's seriously dull.

I really don't get all the Jason-baiting. He's just under-used, as a character he's not useless though. He and Eileen should get way more storylines, they both have such potential. Plus Jason's one of the few pieces of eye-candy left on the street.. he's very much needed!

Fraid I agree, she can't do drunk. And she has had far too much screen time, I am fed up with the sight of her (there's something very irritating about her, for me). I used to really like her, but I now think she's over-used and over-rated.

Better hope she used precautions!

Suranne Jones wasn't making unrealistic pay demands, where did you hear that, oh sorry read that. She said all in a interview it was not about the money, she wanted to do other roles, and the fact she had been playing the role for 5 years.

I think it's safe to say Tina'No Brain's head is far far up her a*se, have you not seen interviews with the press at award ceremonies? Or when she did that pop night for ITV? The sooner she leaves the better, I imagine it's when her ex-boyfriend's on screen brother gets the axe... *slut*

My point was that Tina O'Brien hasn't made unrealistic pay demands (like some soap actresses tend to do..) so therefore what basis have you for saying she thinks she's better than the show, or is worth more than what the show is paying her?

Don't even know where to start on the second part.. You don't like her personality... so what? What counts is that she can act, you not liking her as a person is no reason for her to be axed! And again.. do you fancy yourself as a bit of a mind-reader or something? I mean, how do you know that if Ryan was fired, Tina would simply ditch corrie? What basis have you for saying that? Calling her a slut is pretty out-of-line too.. I mean, this is a real person you're talking about, not an onscreen character. Unless someone has wronged you, what right have you to bitch about them?

I agree Garbage, but Phat Avenger does tend to be a tad biased towards Corrie.
