There are loads on there at the moment around the £1000 mark. This is going to be my new hobby for the afternoon - spot the hijacker

Suffice to say that real fans miss out because of greedy people.
Not really. Real fans will buy the tickets on Ebay so they aren't missing out.

Hijacked auction, they aren't a real bidder at that price.

It was trumped by the one with the £100,100.00 bid later

Course some of the real fans will miss out, not everyone can shell £300 for a pair of tickets.

But the people buying tickets on ebay are also real fans surely? So how are the real fans missing out?

Can you not see? I am talking about tickets that are selling for £55, which is in financial reach of the average fan, being snapped up left right and centre to sell on for over inflated prices, therefore selling the gigs out. It's certainly out of reach for me and my husband who desperately would like to go but were unable to get tickets to buy from ebay for £300+ and I might add we would never do.

But they are still true fans buying them on Ebay surely? You are right that people on lower incomes can't afford to go now but it's not like the tickets are being bought by people who hate them.

Got 4 tickets for Friday, myself, OH, daughter and son-in-law. Not been this excited about a gig, and I have been to hundreds, since I got Green Day tickets for Milton Keynes.

Problem we are having now is getting a hotel room nearby So if any FM know of any smaller hotels, guest houses that may not be on line could you please post on here please? We are willing to drive there and back same day but wanted to make a couple of days of it, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hope it will be a great 3 days for all attending. Dare say they may not be as they were in their hey day but still looking forward to this gig massively.

They may be criticised for doing it for the money but how many bands don't these days? They were ripped off big time, so fair play to them for recouping what they lost as a truly awesome band who should have had the status and earnings as contemporary mega bands today i.e. Muse.

And we lucked out with Primal Scream!!

Anyway, the reason for bumping an 8 month old thread was to post a few videos from The Stone Roses gig in Barcelona on Friday night.

They are sounding really good.

Set list:

Sally Cinnamon
Mersey Paradise
Ten Storey Love Song

Can't believe it's two weeks on Friday. It seemed like it was ages away when I got tickets.

Looking forward to Primal Scream and The Vaccines too, seen The Vaccines a couple of times and they've been spot on and I've not seen Primal Scream in ages. Glad I got Friday tickets now as I'm not impressed with any of the other supports (Beady Eye would have been OK but I've seen them quite recently), Plan B and Professor Green are awful choices.

Here's hoping for a nice sunny day.

Also hearing the same... apparently Ian was heard shouting to the the crowd that "The drummer has f--...ed off"

I didn't think Reni was happy.

Gordon Smart just tweeted...

"So, sounds like a scrap between Reni and Brown. IB called Reni the C word on stage #stoneroses Cuppa and fag then back to work boys..."

Whether they'll be stupid enough to let a spat get in the way of the £2m each they'll earn from their summer shows remains to be seen.

got tickets to Heaton Park and for T in the Park, was holding onto the Manchester ones because expected they would probably split after that and pull out of T but now it seems they might not even make Manchester.

They got a full gig - including a brilliant 12 minute version of Fools Gold http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5IDlOwVvFE

I'm sure they were disappointed not to get the Resurrection encore which was the highlight of Barcelona gigs,
(really worth a watch too if you haven't seen it yet! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkKGBSiDU5I) but they still got a full show.

I was a bit worried when I heard about the Ian/Remi spat, but they're older and wiser now and I'm sure they will put everything right by the next gig. That's what these warm up shows are for, to sort out any issues ahead of HP

Given the amount of drugs all involved have consumed, I don't think that's entirely possible. Might as well ask Bez while you're at it.
