Neighbours - cliffhanger
msf

OMG, did you see today's cliffhanger with the tape ?
Exciting, huh ?
Now, why do I have the feeling the conclusion will be a total let-down ?
Oh yes, I remember, it's because everytime they do something like that, nothing happens in the next episode.
The tape will probably be buggered or they will be someone at the door or something.

By the way, Mac certainly told Lyn where to go, good on ya girl !

Can someone enlighten me please? I was watching most of it but missed the end so what tape are we talking about?
Thanks
* Yes, just wished Mac could have phrased it a bit stronger at that time! Is it me or has Lyn just turned into a complete busy body?

I agree, Lyn is getting like she was when her family first joined Neighbours. Poor Steph with her wedding.
The tape was of the scan - showing her to be further pregnant than she should be for the baby to be Karls. Izzy threw it in the bin but Karl found it and had just pressed play ...............

Good news, it's not just you !
Lyn has turned into the worst kind of curtain-twitching silly old biddy.
She's so pathetic it's embarassing. Funny how I absolutely love Colleen in H&A but hate Lyn. I guess the fact the actress who plays Lyn is absolutely useless plays a big part in it (you knooooooooooooooow), but even still, the character is a waste of space.

The tape was a recording of Izzy's baby that she threw away so Karl wouldn't see how far along she's in her pregnancy.

maybe Izzy will pretend she's got a pain in her fat belly to distract Dr Karl.

I used to think the actress behind Lyn was good though. When she had that stuff with Valda being her mother last year I thought she was really good. I think it's since Joe left they seem to have developed a different side to Lyn- a very annoying one!
I miss Joe so
Sounds like a good cliff hanger but you're right they'll probably turn it into nothing!

i am correct in thinking that Libby may have guessed who the father really is? When her and Izzy were talking, I think at Steph's, and Izzy said something about how big she is already, and Libby said she sould check her facts about babies as at that stage they are all the same size. well, something along those lines.

I think she generally doesn't trust her at all! She may feel he isn't the father but I don't think she could say for sure- I did notice that though!

that's what they usually do isn't it ?
And it gets worth, from what I've heard :
Spoiler
When Darcy comes back, he finds out the truth about Izzy's bub, she pushes him down the stairs at the hospital before he can tell anybody and he ends up in a coma.

This storyline will go on for many more months I'm afraid.

Spoiler
It could really go on years till Darcy comes out of his coma!

I reckon it's good when these things go on longer as the suspence is greater.

I like it better when the pace is faster, like in Sons & Daughters.
What Neighbours are doing is not suspense, it's dragging out a weak storyline. As we all know who the father is, all we can expect is Dr Karl getting upset, big whoops.
Maybe it's a boy/girl thing.

I have to confess that anything that keeps Karl on screen for a while longer is good enough for me.

If we are talking plain shallow- I would really like to see Jack on screen more! (as much of a idiot he is)

Oh no, I hate the way he says 'Ma' .

Then again I could just mute his scenes with Lynne since they're hardly worth listening to anyway.

Oh yes I like Dr Karl. But he really should be with Mrs K.

Is that happened then? Me being me I missed the first few minutes! If it weren't for this forum I would never have known anything about this part of the storyline! I still say Jack's the fittest bloke threre though I wouldn't stop watching- good idea to leave it till the finale because it does look like it could be good, as well as it's aftermath

I know, I am registered there too, but if I only miss 5 minutes I usually just assume that nothing interesting will have happened. (usually right at the moment too!
Thanks anyway!
