Don't like new Safari on Ipad IOS5

I know tabs are the way forward with browsers but I miss the windows and no tabs. Screen looks more cuttered and the top bar looks squeezed up. It's all a bit less simple and the tabs are a bit laggy to close even if it's a few seconds.

Luckily I can use Icab and remove tabs but it's not the same.

I suppose it's horses for courses as I really like the new tabs. I can switch tabs with one click instead of two. Nice.

I don't like Safari anyway. It's always been a bit hit and miss at remembering passwords, in my experience, which makes it rather annoying.

I just use iCab.

Does anyone know why Windows, Windows Marketplace and Windows Media have appeared in Safari as well as the Customize Links & Free Hotmail tabs?

I guess it will take some getting used!

My guess: You've started using iCloud and it has synced the bookmarks that shipped with your Windows computer to your iOS device.

Thanks for that Daveoc64, it makes sense. Will see about deleting them
