ISO 5 Update error!
I have just updated itunes and my ipod touch (4thgen) and i had an error (-5000) I have now had to restore from back up. when looking around that doesn't appear to be what has happened to everyone else. I have now had to restore from itunes (as unsure what icloud is at the moment).
question i would like to know is will i have lost anything or will i have to again painstakingly upgrade ( i have to do it for daughters aswell)? now its saying restore was interuped, so need to start again! |

When iOS5 came out I think that Apple's servers just got inundated. My iPad updated fine but my iPhone kept stalling and I had to restore. I guess that now things should be a little calmer. But when I restored i didn't lose anything and everything went well after the initial hiccup.
Hope you manage to restore OK

Not lost any data but I'm having to add all apps manually as the restore just won't do it! But looks like everything else is ok!
I do have another issue, when registering for iCloud and another few apple apps I put in my apple ID and password but next they ask you to verify email sent, but my emails are being sent to a deleted work email account that I have no access to. But this is not the email I use for apple. Any idea of deleting this email from iTunes and getting them sent to the right account! |
