DTV Menu on Samsung TV vanished?
I have a 32" Samsung HD Ready DTV and today when I turned on the TV to watch the inbuilt Freeview. I pressed the TV/DTV button on the remote and it says "Not Available". My aerial is ok, (I have checked) Their is no DTV menu atall. Does this mean my inbuilt Freeview tuner has blown or something. I have even accessed the engineers menu and reset the TV to no avail.
Appreciate your help on this if possible. Thanks |

Most likely it's failure of the sub-standard capacitors in the TV, this commonly scrambles the EEPROM (where the settings are stored) - a common effect is loss of DTV on the menus.
