What Celebrity Should Be In Coronation Street Next
Any ideas as to what celebrity should feature in a cameo role for a Coronation Street plot?
I can see Patricia Routledge as Emily Bishop's friend. |

I'd put Simon Cowell in it! I don't know who he'd be (Slimey businessman?) but I think he'd ruffle a few feathers!

Like Mike Baldwin.
Simon Cowell should have went into the canal instead of Richard Hillman who was my favourite character. |

John Cleese or Alan Rickman.
Now that I think about it they should have put Alan against Honor and then they could legitimately claim to be the Voices of Weathefield. |

Good choices there!!!
Who did you intend on them playing if they were in Corrie? |

Indeed she could.
Eileen Derbyshire should have been on Keeping Up Appearences alongside Patricia and what a team they'd be!!! |

James Marsters (Spike from Buffy/Angel) - just to stand around and look good in black leather and tight jeans

I'd also like to see Kerry Norton (Maxi in Bad Girls) in something like Corrie - she did the hard-nut act brilliantly! Jack Ellis (Jim Fenner) would also be a great addition!

I agree about Jack Ellis (Jim Fenner) and I think he should play a taxi driver at Streetcars or an eccentric resident at Weatherfield.

im sure there will be more celeb cameos - Honor Blackman as Rula was brilliant, but there cannot be an embarassing repeat of the awful Norman Wisdom fiasco! That was dire !

Victoria Wood - it needs to happen and it must happen - i see her playing Eileen Grimshaws sister -and we already know they have good chemistry on screen together (Dinnerladies for those of you who never watched it).
Again Julie Walters would be a perfect choice. |

He's not a celebrity but I'd love Mr Tarantino to guest direct an episode of it! In my dreams, I know, but I'd like to see the way he'd get rid of the dead wood in the show!!!
It'd have to be a late night special though!

Deidre's long lost sister Pauline Campbell Jones from Royston Vasey (League of Gentlemen), her and Mickey would cause some bril friction in the Rovers and Corrie's ratings would shoot up!
