Clearly Amelia is disappointed in being booted off in the first show and that's understandable. However, when speaking publically, you have to choose your words wisely, especially when, like Amelia, you're just starting out on a career in showbusiness.

Come on Lily

Just move on & do your own thing, you will lose even more from this kind of publicity. Its not the right kind. They want to see you fall, and you are proving them right....

Don't fall into the trap....

I remeber Austin saying more or less the thing when he was sent home.

When their on the show it's their entire world and they think it's the only chance they will ever have, which is probably true for some more than others.

After leaving then some of them will realise thy while the show offered a great opportunity the X-Factor route to music fame just wasn't for them.

She is only 16 and years to learn her craft and if she makes it then good for her

It needed digging up to remind us what a horrible little brat she is.
I'm looking forward to what she has to say to the media next Monday, after she's left the Xfactor for a 2nd time.

Sour Sophie fanatics,........

Someone bumped this thread after weeks to make a point...... Your source is what, daily star who???

It does make a very good point though, especially since she's currently all over twitter begging to be voted back in.

The only act that left with their dignity were 2shoes so for me they are the only ones who should be put back into it.

She was obviously just trying to save face, as everyone in this thread knows but is choosing to ignore because it gets in the way of their smug moral sermonizing.

Regardless of her reasons for saying what she said, it doesn't look good now she's clamouring to get back in the show.

Thanks for bumping this! What a hypocrite.

Sooooo unlikeable and cocky too - she really thinks she's God's gift. She isn't even as amazing as some on here like to claim she is.

'Obviously just trying to save face' Hilarious excuse. PMSL. She should have saved face by acting thankful and remained dignified rather than she and her parents proclaiming she's better off without the show and then now begging to be let back on.

That... isn't saving face.

Can anyone explain why there are FOURTEEN threads about this girl on the first two pages of X Factor threads?

Because she's the most interesting X Factor affiliated person right now, evidently, and she isn't even a contestant!

Come the weekend she'll regret having associated herself with the toerag that is Cocozza, you'd imagine it'll cost her votes.

'I'm better off without X Factor, I'll make it without X Factor, boo hoo, hiss boo' is really 'saving face' and keeping respect from viewers isn't it?

Well now they've stitched it up for her to go back in

Anyway this thread should probably be kept in mind when voting

O0o0o0oh a Google definition!! My legs, they quiver. By saving face I clearly meant that by saying "I am better off without it" and pretending not to care, she would seem less upset and weak, even turn a negative into a positive. Going "Oh well thanks for throwing me under the bus" would have induced pity, not respect. Thanks for trying.

Oh purlease she was hurting and trying to make herself feel better by slating a show that rejected her. The way she was kicked of was beyond cruel.

Some of the comments on here make me feel sick tbh, so nasty and unnessersary. She is just a girl FGS

Grow up some of you!

Which - along with the choice of Frankie to go through - goes to show it is nothing to do with talent just what drives the X Factor PR machine. But now they have had to leave to the public vote which means that anything could happen ...
