It was pretty forgettable in my opinion.

The album version is alot different, it's got an uptempo beat and is much more "pop". Suprised she done an acoustic version, tbh.

But it's already at #52 on iTunes! And it's her SIXTH single from the album.

Last time I saw her on X factor I wasn't impressed, but I thought that song was beautiful tonight. Acoustic songs are usually better than the originals though.

It's been available for illegal download (YouTube etc) ever since June 2010, so if it goes top 40 that will be an incredible success.

And the album has sold about 750K, so it's still impressive.

I wonder if it will go top 10 come next Sunday, just like "Fireworks" did after she performed it last year. It would be her 6th top 10 hit from that album in the UK, and if it goes no. 1 in the USA it will be her 6th number one from one album - something no one has ever managed before...

It's a highlight of the album, I love songs like that, that are like stories.

Yep, she was definitely playing it live - she was playing the chords E, Abm, C#minor, A which are the chords in the song )

the album has been certified 2 x platinum with sales over 715k in the uk.

she did deliver tonight and i was pleased for her.

I prefer the album version but she did good tonight.

Having just listened to Hummingbird Heartbeat for the first time, I bet it was the opening line that axed that deal [westerners just aren't that mature enough with that subject just yet].

I really commend Kerry for doing that live, just her, the guitar and her voice. She left herself completely open and she pulled it off smashingly methinks!
