Half way through, this just makes me think she topped the vote? Am i just over thinking it? He has never done that before?

Dermot says that all the time.

No he I think he does that all the time (I still think Misha was quite high though).

He always does that around halfway through I thought?

He says it all the time.

I used to think that too though, so at the end of series 5 when the voting figures were released, I went onto YouTube to check... it really was/is in no particular order

He always says in no particular order

She was saved 5th or 6th, so it was halfway mark.

No, Dermot was reminding Misha that the vote was in no particular order and she didn't come 5th in the vote, more like 10th.

you're over thinking, Dermot always mentions it at some point during the results as well as the beginning

Oftentimes, Dermot will announce the act that survived the sing-off the previous week as safe first. Or at least it used to be that way in earlier seasons, as I recall. But they seldom topped the vote, except for, say, Rachel Adedeji's one week of safety. So yeah, it's all about building suspense. Announce the blatantly obvious, then announce some happy surprises, and so forth.

That happens every-week. If you notice, at that point, he had declared one of each category safe, so it made for an appropriate time to give the reminder.

What it made me think was that Johnny had only just survived in the voting actually, because he said it just after he announced Johnny safe, but even that is probably reading too much into it.

yeah he just remindsthe viewrs at home that that 's the case I think he just says it while he's waiting to be told who to call next

No correlation. last year he said it every week before announcing One Direction were safe and they were never top of the voting

the answer is: yes you are over thinking it
of course that is not to say she couldn't be top..and how they create the "random" order would be interesting to know?
I wonder if this year when the results come out will we get seperate results for text compared to phone results?

Yes. He says it at the start and then at another point, usually halfway through.

I name one out loud and then Dermot names the same one so his no particular order is my Particular order ....

At Ladbrokes you can bet on how many times Dermot says it

yeah I love that one ..I always play alone but without spending the cash

You can also bet on which act will be called first which I quite enjoy guessing ...as if there's some sort of scientific formula to it. Made some dosh on that last year though. (by the way Matt was never called first last year just a random fact, so first called definitely doesnt mean FIRST)
