It is no surprise the viewings are dropping, however if it was the old panel ( Dannii, Cheryl and Simon), would the viewings have dropped regardless?....or would the ratings be strong?

We can all say that people don't watch for the judging panel, but in fact the judges play an immense role.

I personally feel that the panel has lost it's magic, and that the judges are not as fantastic as I hoped they would be. It was all exciting at first as I thought 'wow Gary and Kelly', but it is just not happening anymore.

This is coming from someone who was glued to the screen watching every single x factor episode ( since season 4), to now............only seen 10 min of one audition and 30 min of one live show......and I just can't tune in.

Well these judges are definitely a lot worse at reading their lines and sounding convincing.

Especialy Gary.

The viewing figures couldn't have went anywhere other than down after last year. They were just so high.

The drop in viewing figures, I think it's more to do with the lack of talent on stage than the quality of the judges.

Maybe since the judges are new, they are just still adjusting?

I admit I watched 90% more for the judges as I loved the drama, chemistry and moments.

Dannii, Cheryl, Louis and Simon always kept me on my toes.

From my impression of this season.....it feels like Gary can not mentor, Louis is not bothered anymore, Tulisa is just a cry immature baby....and worst of all (from a Kelly Rowland fan) she is just so annoying. Does she think it is the Kelly Rowland show?
