I'm going to the Reading FC match tomorrow, and Robbie & Ola are doing a Jive at half-time!

As long as the weather is ok then Ola will probably wear one of her skimpy costumes and most people wont notice Robbie.

He'd better hope he doesn't end up on the wrong side of a two-footed tackle from behind.

I saw Robbie tweeting this today - can't believe it!!!!!

His old club Derby are the opposition - would have imagined it would be better if he'd done the dance in front of them!!!!

He's been a player who has taken stick throughout his career - can only guess how this will turn out!!!!

Hope you have a great time dondfan998! - do post on here to let us know how Robbie & Ola fare dancing in front of a football crowd!

Thank you! I'll be sure to report back!

I thought he tweeted he was going to do the Tango they did last weekend (not their new dance)... Surely the new dance (jive) wouldnt yet be in a fit state for show?

Also surely the Tango would be better for show purposes?

Robbie shouldn't do the jive if he's only just learning it! It will shatter his confidence that Ola's been building up. They should do the tango instead.

Maybe then, I was just going off a report that I read on Reading FC's website, he may have changed it now though.

Tbf I think Ola said on Twitter that it was the Jive they were doing.

Also - happy birthday to the dude

EDIT: Ola's just said that they've missed the train to Reading as they couldn't stop practicing

If this exhibition goes well, no doubt there will be some more, with every occasion in the sports headlines and catching the public imagination. Many footie watchers could start to watch Strictly for the first time, and they would surely vote for a footballer on Wembley night as one of their own.

Robbie was 14/1 at the bookies a week ago, now 10/1. That price won't last. If new footie voters adopt him, the glitterball will be his.

Robbie tweeted that they missed their train so this might not be happening now which is a shame for anyone who was going to be there and wanted to see it.

I think they will all be looking forward to seeing Ola rather than Robbie to be honest.

Well, they won't be seeing them at all seeing as they've missed their train.

They made it in the end. There's a pic on twitter of them all dressed up! They were doing the Tango not the jive.

Saw Robbie's tweets re missed train - and was surprised to eventually see pics posted of them dancing!

Had expected to see a temporary platform erected for them to perform orn ather than just have them dance at pitch level - and it must have been bloody freezing for Ola in her costume!!

Did you get there dond? - how did the crowd react to the somewhat unusual half time entertainment?

Goodly pics and brief writeup in the Daily Mail

Robbie wearing trainers as they were dancing on the grass, can't have been easy.
