Hi tilly,i dont "starlight" will have any trouble either,i gave my oldest nieces a copy of letters(standard one) and she said she loves all the songs but starlight is her favourite.Im just glad the album is doing ok.I cant stop listening to that adele cover.

I'm sure there will be more opportunities Cardie - looking forward to spending a bit more time with everyone next time. I'm disappointed they're both on the same night, but also really looking forward to seeing Degrees playing their brand new set.

I just wish there was some way of knowing for sure if Matt was likely to be at High Barn. My son would like to take his little girls but money's tight and a wasted journey would mean no money for a more certain chance of getting them to see him (both massive fans). They were on holiday this week when he's been out and about so much. It's frustrating.

I agree Starlight won't have any problems either it does seem to be popular right across the board.

Well will try and do a report nowfrom my phone but had a glass or two so here goes!!
I just caught the train with 2 mins to spare (was shaking when I got on) wanted to get the earliest train I could to get a wrist band! Daughter had agreed to go with me even though matt wasn't 'her thing'! Even if she had wanted him to win! I really didn't think we would stand a cat in he'll chance of gettin a wrist band as it was go e 10.30 by now and was very shocked when we got there to find no queue and 'a few' left! I bought my 3rd album and daughter the single (she was very supportive for me)! What did surprise me was the fact that there was no advertising of the intended signing either at hmv or anywhere in Manchester that I saw! I was so excited and couldn't concentrate on the planned marathon shopping event we had planned! Then panic set in my phone packed up! No camera with me and no phone and I wanted a photo!! B said she would get one but I wanted more than one!! An angel at a certain shop named after a fruit saw my panic and got it going again - I nearly kissed him!!!

Well the day passed - b got a tad spoilt (well she had agreed to go with mum to see matt - remembering how many times I had sat through boyzone, Justin timberlake and blue concerts for her!!!). We got to hmv around 5pm and was ushered downstairs to a dark dingy room at the back of the shop! There was hardly anyone there! B started to panic lots and lots of professional type photographers there -I have the same sort of camera (I take wedding photos) but as I didn't think we stood a cat in he'll chance of gettin to see him I hadn't bothered bringing a camera (b said she would have died if I had!). I was suprised and pleased to see so many males there and such a mixed age range! But was equally sad to see not that many people there I thought it would be packed. They kept playing his 2 singles over and over again which drove b mad until someone had the idea to play the album! There was 3or4 TVs playing the videos of the singles too.
Matt walked in we were so close to him and he was so friendly waving and posing for photos. There were young girls with matt cardle written over their faces and putting their makeup on etc-all quite entertaining whilst we were waiting I suppose! Now I had been shopping all day after a 2 hour journey and it was freezing outside and had been pouring down at one point and I looked like sh*t! B started to panic big style as the professional photographers were taking pics of everyone in the crowd and with matt! She really didn't want her picture taking by these guys! Anyway it was suddenly my turn to go up and finally meet him! He was so nice and friendly I got to ask him if he was enjoying himself and about his album etc. He came round and I had my photo with him giving me a cuddle I mentioned that I go on ds but I do t know if he got what I meant! Then b went up and he gave her a cuddle and a photo!
He was so so nice and pleasant with everyone. I still can't understand why some girls were sobbing in his arms and the photographers were having a field day.
It was such a wonderful experience actually getting to meet him (b refuses to be star struck by anyone even when she got chatted up by an eastenders actor) but she dud ok for her mum! Her friend is matt mad and is going to see him in Manchester sat night - I just wish I could go with her friend to see him perform - that's the next thing I want to do!
My friend was so upset she couldn't be with me and as I now I have 3 copies of his album I may give her a copy but not my signed one!!
By the way it stated in some paper about him performing at his album signing in Manchester well we were there early and he never performed that what we saw so just proves how they get things wrong!
It wasnt as exciting report as some on here but it was exciting to me - the FIRST time I met my Matt!!

I hope that means there will be band footage !! I think that is soooo important right now!

Im having difficulty keeping up with you all at the mo, and RL is making demands. I dont have a lot of time to chat but I am checking for news as often as I can.

Really pleased to hear that he is also 2 in Ireland!!

I really think that Matts fans have simply gone straight for the album instead of buying RFYL seperately! It never did make sense to me that It came out only a week before the album

I have lost track of who has been putting up these wonderful accoustic vids, but a MASSIVE THANK YOU whoever you are

It's simply stunning isn't it. That boy is so under-rated by many. They have no idea what he is capable of.

Yep there is deffo the band in the video, also it's at night with lots of pyrotechnics (according to tweets) so seemed to be a few extras cast so a gig scene maybe? could be very exciting. Also will tweeted very excited about it just after
shooting was finished so fingers crossed it's awesome!
