iPad 2 connecting to net

I have a wifi only iPad 2 I also have a Vodafone dongle which I use for my laptop to get mobile bb. is there any way I can get something to use that to connect to the net

You may get a third party Mi-Fi device which can convert your mobile broadband internet signals into WiFi signals and help your iPad access the internet. There aren't any software tweaks that you could do to access it directly from the laptop.

You can also use wifi tethering if you have a mobile phone and data plan that supports it

There is, you can set up an adhoc wifi network on the laptop and enable internet connection sharing on the voda connection.

A mifi device is the best option though/
