Started watching about half way in...Was simply wondering if West Ham's opposition was mentioned and who they were. It's not important but we gave a game against West Ham tonight and was wondering if my humble little football team got a mention?!

(Southampton)

no they didn't mention who they were playing but they did say it was a saturday,as kat didn't want to look after the pub on her own on a busy day.

It's the law in EE, everybody must support West Ham, unthinkable to follow any other London side, even poor old unfashionable Orient who would also be on their doorstep.

Incredibly realistic.

Only Arthur Fowler had the nuts to follow somebody else, Walford Town. For this heinous crime, Arthur was fitted up to make everyone think he'd pinched the Christmas money - thus he went mad & became a local figure of hate, before finally being burned at the stake.

Ever since, even Man Ure fans in Walford can be heard saying ... "C'mon you Hammers!"

Meh...There have been supporters of other teams in the past

Danny Moon, Deano Wicks, Martin Fowler:
Spuds

Kevin Wicks, Ricky Butcher:
Chelsea

Jason Dyer:
Man City

Eddie and Tyler Moon:
Orient

Joe DiMarco:
Aston Villa (Don't ask how I remember that...)

Only mention of us I've ever seen is when someone was having an arguement in the public toilets and "SFC" was written on the wall....This could also be the chicken brand

Another thing was that Alfie said WHU would be Champions League winners next season....That's not actually possible =/

I'm guessing the fixture lists weren't even out, when that scene was filmed.

Yep, the plaque on the gardens bench actually reads:

'Arthur Fowler - He loved this place ...but not enough to be a WHU fan, so we f*ck*d him up good.'

They didn`t mention which team they were playing but I`ve checked, it would have been Blackpool. WHU won 4-0 so Alfie will be happy if he was real. I`m not a WHU fan but have a friend who is, he will be really happy. Who cares if Alfie is happy, certainly not Kat.
