Unless my ears were tricking me, I'm sure she told ITV's This Morning today how her character leaves the show. I won't reveal it but if anyone else saw her on the show can you confirm she did mention it (but don't mention it without putting it in spoiler captions!). I'm sure I didn't imagine her say how she leaves the show. I was a bit surprised she mentioned the storyline!

LOL!

Oh stop it!

I'm sure she did say how she leaves. I sort of heard a bit of it but maybe I was mistaken. I could put it in spoilers. Shall I do that?

Could do. I can remember her being on This Morning but can't remember her saying anything about how she leaves. I can only remember her saying she wouldn't be killed off.

Lol, re-reading the post it sounds like a kid's show "Shall I tell you how she leaves, boys and girls?!" like we're all expected to go "YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

Yes Tracey Barlow for one! What has happened to that storyline? She was in for the murder of Charlie and was released. Unbelievable really as you actually saw her kill him on screen.

She came out for some reason they have never mentioned it again. I did not think she was actually free for good something about a retrial springs to mind.

A scientist was found to have been unreliable on DNA evidence, so all the cases in which he was involved were reviewed and found to have been unsafe, so thats how she got out

Thanks for that. A stupid way to bring her back though especially as she actually done it. Still this is "soap land" so anything is possible

It was always going to be implausible. The mistake wasn't bringing her back, it was having her commit murder and be found guilty for it - Tracy is a big character and part of an iconic family so her return was never going to be 'if' but 'when' - regardless of whether she was still going to be played by Kate Ford or not. They wrote the character into a corner by doing that.

Obviously they had to find some reason, however flimsy, to bring her back permanently - and since then they've seemingly tried to erase her 'past' from history although I think Stella did mention it recently.

In fact what's more odd is that they seem to be making out that she was never guilty in the first place and that it was self-defence, even though she confessed everything to Deirdre, even though Deridre seems to have forgotten all about that and has since taken Tracy's word for it. Bizarre.

That's not true. Tracy has said since she's been back it was self defense. She doesn't deny she killed Charlie, but she says she didn't commit murder. Self defense (though she lying lol) wouldn't be murder, so her saying she's innocent fits.

I don't understand what you mean. What's not true?

I know that's what Tracy has said - but before she was put away she admitted to Deirdre it was murder. What's odd is that there's been no mention of this since she came back, even though Deirdre is meant to be well aware that it was murder.

Dierdre probably just believes she was saying it for effect. Or the fact the case was proven unsafe has convinced her Tracy did it in self defense.

I watched the interview on ITV player and Katharine was talking about the original (3 month) plan for Becky when she came on the street. Which was going to end up with her being sent to Prison.

That is not necessarily what is going to happen this time.

Although her actions on Tram Crash night could come back to haunt her.

I think your mistaken, as far as i rember the only thing Katherine Kelly said about Becky going to prison, was that originly she was only going to be in corrie for 3 months, and then at the end of that 3 months Becky was going to end up in prison, however because Katherine Kelly then stayed, that obviusly never happened

There's no way she won't leave happily with Max. This IS the ending for her they've been building up to.
