If you've got scientific data to back this up, feel free to share. I remember reading once about a company testing screens with so many pixels that the images were literally photorealistic, but they had to can the project as when people were shown the displays their minds couldn't process that it wasn't real and there all sort of unpleasant side effects.

Just because Steve Jobs said the human eye can't distinguish more than 300PPI at 10-12 inches doesn't make it fact. It makes it marketing.

Seems that the Optimus LTE arrived(also called Optimus EYE). with a 4.5" 1280 x 720 IPS LCD screen. At 329ppi Is this also for the iPhone 5?
It seems to be already available in Korea and Canada.

Methinks a 1024 X 600 screen would be a bit more viewable at this size.

Well I understood the 'true HD' bit.

The more I look at this and compare, the more I'm leaning towards getting an S2, or at least waiting to see if the S2 HD arrives on our fair shores.

While the construction is innovative, I can't really see it performing beyond what's already available. If overclocked, all that'll happen is that the battery will run down a lot quicker - a Sensation XE might be better for that given the massive storage capacity of the battery therein.

Perhaps, as has been clear from the start, it's there to mainly be a development phone?

Someone tell me I'm wrong!

A useful big screen. Maybe the LG has the better one with this being best for battery.

Hrmm it's changed again on Amazon - £549.99 and released on Nov 16th.

They can't seem to make up their mind! It was £500 earlier on
