Anyone spotted any of the Brookside cast in anything else recently?
Obviously I am talking about cast members who were there near or at the end and not people like Amanda Burton or Sue Johnston. Brookie ended in November but what are the actors doing since?
Sunetra Sarker was in No Angels, Bernie Nolan is in The Bill and the actress who played Bernie's mum is in Emmerdale. I saw the girl who played Rachel Jordache in one of those annoying esure adverts with Michael Winner today. Anyone spotted any other Brookie stars in new roles? |

The actor who played Ron Dicko was in Doctors on tuesday - he was playing a bloke who was taking crack (or something),
Incidently Denny Blood from bad girls was playing a prostitute who he was mates with and the women who plays Kens mum in Early Doors was his interfering neighbour. |

yes bring back brookie, bring back brookie, bring back brookie, bring back brookie, bring back brookie, bring back brookie, bring back brookie. ok so im mad, but not that mad. i just liked watching brookie,it was obvious that they were going to stop showing it as they kept moving the days and times that it was on. i mean i could not watch it much when it was on a saturday as saturday was family days out , taking the kids out everywhere. anyway i better shut up now as i could go on forever and its will get boring listening to me all night. but yes i would like to see brookie from the start as i was only young when it starteed im 26 now and will be able to understand it better. anyway i am going now ,really i am . thanks for reading if you have. cyaaaaa xxxxxxxx |

I was watching the Brookie Friday the 13th video yesterday and was reminded just how good the show used to be before they started messing around with viewing times etc. I think we should all email Channel 5 and beg them to get the viewing rights to show reruns of Brookie..... I say Channel 5 because they seem to like showing old soaps.... Prisoner Cell Block H, Sons & Daughters and of course they bought Home and Away.

Apparently Danny McCall who played Owen, Sammy Rogers husband auditioned for X Factor. For me I always loved brookside from the Barry and Terry days through to the Jordache saga. I was amazed that EE got away with calling their wife beater Trevor. I do think it went downhill when Phil Redmond moved away from the loveable scouse scally characters to posho's who didn't fit the tone of the show like the Simpsons and the Dr and his mates.
Another highlight was all that messing round with Jimmy's son's coffin. |

Of course, Jenneifer Ellison is everywhere. Also, the guy that played Jerome was on Celebrity Fear Factor and Alexandra Fletcher (Jackie Farnham) has been in Loose Women. Haven't seen any of the others. Would love to see Dean Sullivan (Jimmy Corkhill) do something decent as he's a very good actor.

Unfortunately not in the new BBC TV series but in a series of audio plays, starring alongside the 7th Doctor (Sylvester McCoy) and Ace. They're done by Big Finish audios if you wanna google. G |

Looking forward to hearing Tinhead's first Dr Who CD!
I saw Helen Grace (the sister of the incest couple) on stage a couple of months back, in "84 Charing Cross Road", with Rula Lenska. Also saw the illiterate Irish woman onstage in "The Graduate" (Glynis Barber was Mrs Robinson). I miss Brookside, back when it was good. It was poo towards the end. Too silly for words. chuff.x. |

Alessandra Fletcher who played Jacqui Dixon was in ChuckleVision in January 2004 in the episode "Mocha Ado About Nothing" as a passer-by but she went uncredited in the end credits.
