She totally rocked this. Love, love, love it. Can't wait to see her upcoming X Factor performance of it

Brilliant video, I agree with that site, she captured the essence of the song superbly. Did they re-work the song for the video because I can't remember it sounding that good/Kelly's voice less auto-tuned on the album version. If they have I hope the video version is the single cause I like the song a lot more now

Love the video and I really hope this gets Kelly another UK #1. I think she's doing so well with this new era. She seems to be doing well for herself in the US with Motivation and Here I Am. You can't deny Kelly works her ass off, I hope she gets credit with this album

The beginning reminds me of Enrique's "Dirty Dancer" But this is really catchy, hopefully it will get to the top.

Both the instrumentals to those songs are produced by the same person, who's well-known for cutting and pasting parts of one song into another and using the same instruments and sounds again and again.

Anyway, I much prefer Lay it On Me to Down For Whatever. I hope it's her 2nd single at least.

I love the video! I wouldn't have picked it as lead single over here but I hope it does well.

I don't like it It looks basic and low budget.Actually, Kelly saves the whole mess that the video could have been. She is the only element of the video that makes it noteworthy. She looks stunning

The song is awful, though The worst song on her album I'll be checking for the European version of her album anyway

It's not next week, Dermot confirmed at the results show that Professor Green, Kelly Clarkson and Emeli Sande are performing.

What is going on with Kelly's campaign? Why is she releasing different singles/albums in different countries? She should find an image and sound and stick to it. Tailoring your sound to suit different countries shows she doesn't have any identity as an artist. Plus in the internet age it doesn't matter what country you release an album in, the whole world has instant access. Her campaign has been confused since Ms Kelly and continues to be confused in the Here I Am era.

This version sounds more europop than the version on the US album. Has it been remixed?

"Down for whatever" is good and it should do well, but I think in the uk she would have done better with releasing "Lay it on me" with a feel-good video with dance routines and more clothes on.

I've heard the release date for DFW has been pushed back to November 20th, which if true, will presumably be the weekend she performs on The X Factor!

Love this video, simple but gets the job done! Kelly's looking HOT!

However, I wouldn't recommend this video to anyone with epilepsy.

She has gone all skanky and slut like a la Rihanna, Gaga and Beyonce. Such a shame. But hey ho.

The song is very bland. I know she is capable of much better.

Well she is a pop artist so she is "allowed" to dip into other genres. I agree that she is lacking a proper identity though coz of it.
