32" widescreen TV's - help please!
Hi
I'm looking to buy a new 32" widescreen TV and have been looking at the Panasonic TX32PB50C. I've also found that Panasonic do a very similar model called the TX32PG50. Can anybody tell me what the difference is as I can't seem to find out, and which one is the better? Also, can anybody recommend their 32" widescreen TV up to about £1500 in price that has Dolby Digital 5.1 and 100Hz picture as I'm having a nightmare trying to choose one! Thanks |

Looks like the PG50 is a current model and the PB will replave it. I am guessing at this, but looking at their website it gives little info on the PB50 and lots of info on the PG50 which has been available for nearly a year.
My parents have the 32PG30 which is the non dobly model. They're pleased with it and it works well. Its compact too... not a lot bigger than a 28" widescreen believe it or not! |

The Panasonic TX32PG50 is probably your best bet as it has both Dolby Digital and DTS sound and is in the sale at:
www.empiredirect.co.uk For £1227 |

Go for the PG30 which is the nicam version then add your own seperate surround amp, I had 4 PG50's and all of them had faulty surround sound. Also a seperate amp normally offers better sound and better steering of the sound.
I have now got the PG30 with a Marantz SR4200 amp and its a brilliant combination.
