Does anyone actually care about 'number one' and all that these days?

This is the country that once had Mr Blobby ar number one.

No, it's all much of a muchness now. They should never have gotten rid of Tops Pops, as my mum called it.

I really like the concept for the video in the OP, a nice, old fashioned Victorian Christmas.

Elisabeth Beresford the creator of The Wombles died at 10:30PM 24th December 2010, and the news was not announced until the following day.

The Wombles reformed this year and memorably played the Glastonbury Festival, and are releasing a new album "The W Factor" with a re-recording of their 1974 Xmas #2 smash hit as lead single:

Totally agree... both musically and lyrically... it's nothing to my ears, annoyingly nothing... I could forgive the lyrics as they're usually secondary to me anyway and I've heard worse, but the 'melody' is soooo nothing idk what kind of response is expected.... blech... sorry OP if it puts you in the mood it's done it's job I suppose... but it's barely music to me.

Simple is good e.g. Joni Mitchell's River but there's a difference between simple and useless.

... videos seems nice and well produced, but the music is so cardboard, totally uninspired to the point of being annoying to me, sorry I feel like the bastard of Christmas now lol.

over 600.000 you tube hits.

No sign of it in the itunes chart though.

It is for charity and its much better than the army wives song

what a shame this is what we need at the top spot or at least in the top 5, if DOM the Donkey can be number 2 right now on itunes someone needs to push this.. a radio DJ needs to back it.
