Eastenders Perfect Charcater / storyline

Seeing as everyoe is constantly talking about how boring and rubbish the current storylines are and how the characters are crap- who can think of a better (realistic) storyline??? I think a serial murderer would be good (even though it mirrors Coronation Street and Hollyoaks) ...

how about an episode where nobody says "woss goin on?!" or where they are not trying to buy half shares in each others businesses, or where they walk through the market without sniping or scowling at another character!

Now, that would be an original storyline!

I'm surprised EastEnders hasn't done a serial killer storyline already, they had the Walford Attacker in the 80's, they've really lost the plot in regards to being on the pulse of cutting edge drama, they used to lead the way for big gritty storylines such as this but have now become immersed in pointless characters, bullshit gangsters and recycled issue led plots that seem to be attached to any character who hasn't got a storyline that particular week.

Perfect storyline:

Regenderation of East London, Albert Square demolished, residents all move away - the end. New, gritty, funny soap based in South London between new posh development and crumbling council estate is born with TALENTED BTS staff and actors.

Eastender lost it's 'soul' a long time ago. I can't see it recovering. The writing, casting and directing is a joke and it has that awful "BBC Elstree" feel about it that also contaminates Casualty etc.

Never thought I'd say this as I loved it up until about six years ago but it's time they did an Eldorado on EE. Corrie may have been going for donkeys but that's not true of all soaps. I'm glad Crosscrap and Brokshide have gone because they were a soap for an era. EE is the same. It's time for EE to go and be replaced by a better BBC1 soap.

May I be controversial and propose that the extended Beale/Fowler families move onto the estate of my "new soap" (and no-one else?)?

Ideally on the day of the programmes 20th anniversary, Phil & Grant Mitchell arrive back in the Square followed by Simon & David Wicks and then The Dulleries leave forever.

Phil emerges from the back of a van driven by his new "real hard man" side kick and his brother Grant. half an hour later a car bomb rocks Walford killing the The Ferreiras, Gus and Juley and inuring a lot of other characters in the Vic, with Kat, Alfie, Peggy, Nana Moon and Spencer all crtiical. Phil's cover is soon blown as mum Peggy is in the Vic, "Muuuuum" he shouts. The Fowler' house lies in devestation, underneath the rubble we see Derek's hand, he is dead.

Sam Mitchell runs screaming from her house, her face covered in blood after her windows shatter whilst she is in the kitchen. She spots Phil, and then sees the Vic ablaze, she staggers over to Phil, Phil whirls around in surprise as Sam taps him on the shoulder and collapses in his arms. Grant is busy trying to find a way into the Vic but the doors are jammed with bodies and debris littering the Queen Vic floor.

Kat Slater is the first to regain conciousness, she emerges from behind the bar and surveys the damage. She wanders around in amazement muttering serveral names to herself "Alfie" "Peggy" "Dad" "Nan" "Zoe" "Zoe....zoe.....Zoe...ZOE!!!" she becomes hysterical and tries desperately fight her way out, however she is trapped, surrounded by injured and dead neighbours.

The emergency services flood the Square aswell as the police. Phil leaves Sam with Grant and scurries indoors in hiding. In the midst of all the madness, nobody notices young Courteny walking toward the inferno in amazement, until Grant hears a scream.

Kat falls upstairs to try and clear some of the blood off her face, she finds the flat upstairs half blown away. Nana Moon is by some miracle still alive but is confused and badly injured.

Dot and Yolande arrive back in the Square after shopping to see the shocking state of the place. Both their husbands are inside. Dot goes into one about the blitz, when half the Square was blown up.
