Hey, Nikitta! That was a good performance, although nothing more than just "good". I felt that your vocals were challenged in this song, but you pulled it off for the most part. I don't really think this is a great direction for you though, as IMO you're much sassier and have more attitude than that. But, it's the first week and we're all just settling in, so well done anyway! Good luck, I'm not sure if you can make keep away from the sing off, but I personally hope you do, as I know with the right song choices you could be fantastic.

Hmm, that was a okay performance Rochelle. I feel that your mentor could have given you something a bit more vocally challenging that separates you from the competition, but oh well, it's the first week so I don't suppose everyone's going to be particularly outstanding on their first night. I enjoyed the performance for what it was, but if you stay in the competition 'till at least next week, I'd like to something a bit different. Well done though Rochelle, for week 1 it wasn't bad!

A fabulous first performance from you Rochelle! First I thought the song choice might not be enough but I think you pulled it off. All that emotion came off and I thought you had great presence!

Rochelle - I think that was a solid performance totally, Normally you would be called "The one from the saturdays" or "The one dating the one from JLS" but tonight I identified you as Rochelle cos you made that song your own and stood out from the crowd, Rochelle, Your voice is amazing and so underrated, You could really do well in this contest give April picks the right songs with you, Sadly I think you still could be in danger for tomorrow, I hope your not though because that song I will probably always remember as being the first time I ever really took notice to you!

Hey Rhythmix! I'm not particularly keen on acts singing this song as it's been used so many times in the past, but I'll let you off with it since it's the first show. I thought it was a good performance, although a little more effort could have been put into picking songs by your mentor. Your vocals were fine though, and the only thing I could really fault was the fact that it wasn't very edgy, and IMO that's your best trait. Well done though, and good luck!

Hello, Marcus! Welcome to the first live show! i didn't particularly enjoy this performance if I'm being honest. I found it a bit cheesy, and I'm sure I could find 1000 songs that sound exactly the same, but it wasn't all bad I suppose, as the vocals were alright. I'm disappointed though, and I'm sure you're going to end up in the sing off. Well done anyway, and good luck!

Well done Marcus! I thought that was a good first performance. However you really need to up your game and pull out all the stops because you could be a real contender in this competition. I thought the song worked well with you and I wish you all the best!

Sophie, I have to be honest I didn't think that performance was good enough. I thought it was because of the song choice. It really didn't show off your vocals and what you can really do. It was "nice" for the first week but I'm not sure whether that was a hugely challenging performance.

I thought you did well there because the song choice was not best tonight! I thought you did what you could and I commend you for that. Personally I believe the song was too big for you! Good luck in the voting and I hope you can show us the real you next week!
