Twinkle-toed Widdy, who narrowly missed out on winning the glitterball last year, has revealed that she and Craig Revell-Horwood spent a night locked in his hotel room on the recent Strictly tour.

"We were at it hammer and tongs all night," she confessed. "It was very heated and, at one point, I was even down on my knees. I thought I could wear him out but he stayed firm all night and by morning I was exhausted."

She added "I had to admit defeat in the end and let him out of the room. I tried passionately to save him from his evil ways, reading him the entire Bible and praying for him, but he adamantly refused to turn straight. I shall continue to pray for him."
